Fantastic ramen soup. Both the pork and brisket ones were some of the best I’ve ever had. The restaurant felt quite hot and stuffy because of its “basement location”. Definitely needed better air conditioning or maybe it wasn’t switched on.

Some really unique menu items that the chef actually pulls off! A tart cashew salad has more cashews than you would ever imagine. And traditional brisket that is as tender as I’ve ever had. Nicely done.

We came here for something different than a brewery which seems to be the popular trend in this area. We were skeptical at first, but were pleasantly surprised by the atmosphere at first glance.

Their ramen is exceptional! To our surprise, their appetizers, cocktails and desserts too! Loved the decor of this lounge, unexpectedly spacious and with excellent noise control. From the fried Brussel Sprouts, thru what we came for their delicious Ramen, all the way to the chocolate mousse, we enjoyed every bite! Highly recommended.

One of the best tasting food I’ve ever had in my life. The rice bowl and ramen are superb. The place to go in Telluride if you want to spend under $100 for a meal

Amazing experience with the ramen. This place is definitely an Asian-fusion inspired restaurant, so don’t expect real Asian food here. The drinks are great. But in the summer, it is ridiculously hot inside for being in a basement.

We’re big fans of ramen, and were excited to try out this place! Unfortunately, it was a fairly mediocre experience for the very high price point. We waited for what felt like quite a while until someone showed up and asked if anyone else had already taken our order. This turned out to be the bar tender, and he did an okay job of checking in with us considering the fact that he was also manning the entire bar, although service was slow by a normal standard. This was especially annoying because we had a time limit (1.5 hours) on the table due to another reservation coming in after us, but it didn’t feel like the restaurant met us halfway to be sure we didn’t take too long. My husband and I both ordered the mushroom medley, and he claimed the crispy tofu was the best he ever had. The tofu was quite good, but my bowl came out lukewarm. I asked for it it to be heated up, and when the bowl was returned to me, someone in the kitchen had clearly mixed it altogether so all the toppings were between the noodles… this was kind of disappointing because one of the fun parts about eating ramen is dipping into the bowl with the toppings neatly laid out on top. Overall, the meal was good, but nothing special – the broth could have used a lot more seasoning and I asked for sesame oil and soy sauce to add more flavour. It’s expensive to go out in this area no matter where you go, but this just didn’t feel worth it.

The Ramen was absolutely delicious, although very filling. I could not finish it all. The ginger beer was delicious with just enough spice to satisfy. Was able to get a reservation about 20 mins before I intended to be there, as this was a last minute decision but they do sometimes accept Walk ins. They also have rice bowls and other yummy options. The service was good, the host and server friendly and the atmosphere inside the restaurant is just gorgeous! 5 stars for sure.

We stopped at Wood Ear after a week of camping around Colorado. It was a well deserved treat after seeing so much around the state. Not only is the alcohol selection incredible but the drinks are creative and well thought through.

I can’t say enough good things about Wood Ear. They have great murals, nice ambiance, awesome servers, and amazing vegan ramen. Seriously, Mushroom Fest is some of the best vegan ramen I have had. It’s super flavorful and has all sorts of goodness in it (avocado, corn, FRIED tofu, etc.). I’ll be back here every time I visit Telluride.
