The Wood Cafe has not been opened very long. I don’t want to be harsh, but the food was not as tasty as I expected. There were four of us, so I know it wasn’t just my taste buds that weren’t feeling it! I ordered the pad see yew with beef and there was literally no flavor to it. The beef didn’t look cooked all the way. The red curry dish was okay for Becky and the boat noodles was too spicy for Bob. My husband, Brian was disappointed with his pad Thai and said there was no flavor. The service was good and I hope this restaurant improves over time because I do love Thai food.

Not a big Thai food person BUT this place has changed my opinion on Thai food. Probably one of my favorite restaurants to go to in the Orange County area. I highly recommend the cream cheese wontons. They are heavenly. Their Thai iced tea is also amazing.

Great Pad See Ew with chicken. Tonight I ordered the egg drop soup and found a large clump of egg shells. Very unprofessional, unsafe and unsanitary. Definitely won’t be ordering this again.

Me and my friend came here for some late dinner the other day. The young guy attended us right away since it wasn’t packed and we ordered several dishes which were all yummy! We both got the Thai tea which was a 10/10 for me! I loved the food and service that day so will be back soon.

I came to support local business during this time but I highly regret it. My pad see ew was not flavorful and most of the noodles were stuck together, so there was no sauce between them. It was just missing something. I never add hot sauce to my dishes but I had to this time just so I could give it some kick. I even added a leftover Panda Express soy sauce. My husband got the crying tiger steak and it was also lacking flavor. For what we spent we honestly could have gone somewhere else, but I was trying to give small local business a chance. Sad we will will not be returning.

First time here. I ordered Pad See Ew and the wife got Yellow Curry. The Pad See Ew had no flavor, it was kinda gross. I thought it was me and my wife tried it and said it was really bad. I thought Thai food was supposed to be really flavorful. To be fair, my wife enjoyed her yellow curry.

First thing I notice was the space here was massive and they even had another room when you walk in and go to the left. I don’t know if this was part of regular customers or if this is used for private parties. Either way, it would be cool to have your own private celebration in that room actually. I saw a post on Placentia buzz on how great this restaurant was. We decided to have a birthday there. The management was great! They contacted us & made our reservation. Our table was set & Sat our party of 11 as they arrived. They even have us complimentary Ice cream & helped us serve our cake.
