Driving through Evanston, and we really wanted white rice. We found Wonderful Inn on Google Maps, and it did not disappoint! The food is delicious. It’s not salty. It reminds us of home in the SF Bay Area, where there is some terrific Chinese food.

We ended up here by accident on our way from California to Colorado and it was the best chinese food experience in America. We ordered hot & sour soup, veggie roll and shrimp lo mein – the portions are huge, juicy, not greasy. Staff is hospitable. We are delighted, thank you!

I love the food here, large portions and for the price I feel very worth it! The staff here is always nice, smiling, and make it easy to order in restaurant or over the phone. They also make it as easy as possible to carry out to go orders too.

Delicious food. But they dont always include all food in take out orders. So check before you leave. They left out the 2 orders of ham fried rice, 2 orders of egg rolls, 2 orders of cheese wontons, and the extra sause of pot sticker sause. Then they said they packed it up.

I got the hot and sour soup and the potstickers appetizers. Both very tasty. The potstickers appetizer listing in the menu said 8 pieces. We received a generous 11 potstickers. I got the general Taos chicken. It was very good. Came with some additional veggies I was not used to seeing in the meal like carrots. But still very tasty. My only complaint is that the bathroom was super small. Barely enough room to maneuver. I do not think someone in a wheelchair would be able to use it.

This place is so hit and miss. Got it a couple weeks ago and it was great. Got it tonight and the chicken is awful and almost to the point you can chew it. I wish they were just consistent.

First time to eat here. I asked the waitress a couple questions regarding the Family menu. She didn’t seem to understand English very well, but we managed to get our order in. Then a different waitress was talking to her up at the register. Apparently we just aren’t very smart! Then when our Lemon chicken came it was pink & rubbery, not fit to eat. We did get a new order that was only marginally better. Needless to say, we won’t go back.
