An amazing dining experience. The service was top notch and the food amazingly well prepared. I had the duck to eat and the 160 west sangria to drink. The duck practically melted in my mouth and was savory and perfectly prepared. The drink was sweet with the perfect amount of alcohol in it to be flavorful but not overpowering. I’ll definitely be back.

I’m going to try to be very fair with this review. I left, unimpressed and wondering how they scored a 4.7? The wait staff was alright, but certainly didn’t pull out all the stops to impress. I had the lobster bisque (bowl) and W-burger. The bisque was watery, bland and had 3 small pieces of lobster. For the price, they could leave out half the water and add some lobster. The burger was very greasy. My friends pork platter was similarly greasy. The BBQ sauce was very good and the fries were perfectly done, but this can’t offset the greasy burger. Overall, we were both a bit disappointed. I really wanted to leave a better review, I typically leave 4-5 stars for everything, but this is as fair as I could be…..

Absolutely delightful dinner experience. They were great about writing down our reservation request as there had been a storm that knocked out everyone’s internet in the area that afternoon. The food, drinks and service were all top notch. I cannot wait to eat here again!

Food was good. Service was terrible. Everything took forever, seating, drinks, food. The “bread” literally came an hour after we were seated and was rock hard and cold. Not sure if it was an off night but our experience was not great.

Went there tonight for my husband’s birthday….wanted to try a new restaurant….never again! Paid over $120 for just us and the food was bland …no season ( asked for salt and pepper to give it some taste). Had a table of 4 beside us…( the dining area is REALLY small).. they were SO loud and obnoxious that it definitely hindered our dining experience there. The bad part no staff asked them to keep it down. The atmosphere was ridiculous…the best part was our server. First and last time…next time I will go to Southern Prime…and the 2 stars was for the waitress…

Southern Pines best restaurant. Their red wine steak and salmon were nothing short of amazing. The location is small, there really isn’t a greeting location and the server’s can be hit or miss, but their food is always special and makes up for any perceived shortcoming.
