The parking for this restaurant is pretty easy. Directly outside is meter and one block away it’s residential.

Excellent. Authentic chinese food. Not that average nasty neighborhood chinese restaurant. We had lemon chk, steak w/chinese broccoli, shrimpfr, Peking pork chops, beef chow fun w/gravy, lobster Cantonese and string beans w/garlic sauce. All excellent

This is a nice place to go to if you want something casual, you don’t feel like cooking or want something different for a change. The ambience is nice, the staff courteous, service is quick. This is a no-frills place. The food is good and the portions huge. They served us piping hot tea upon arrival. We started with barbecue chicken and vegetable spring rolls. For the main course we ordered fish fillet cooked with spicy cabbage and shrimp Mei Fun. We had to order white rice separately as it didn’t come with the entree. The Mei Fun was delicious. The portion is so huge that 2 people can comfortably share it. The fish portion was big too. The only thing about the fish was that the sauce was too oily. We, a family of 4 ate dinner and brought home enough leftovers for lunch then next day!

Great spot for authentic Chinese dishes. My go-to dishes are the bbq specialties. It never disappoints. Don’t forget to snag a ginger scallion sauce. You can thank me later.

Love the BBQ specialties at this place. Price is a little bit too expensive compared to other places but for me I save a lot of time coming here than going to Flushing so it’s worth it

I actually prefer Tasty House in Flushing but we were caught in the rain near St John’s for the day. I always see it passing by so we finally had an opportunity to try it out. Food is pretty good and fresh. They don’t have lai fun noodles which is what I wanted but they do have a good selection of other noodles to pick from. The woman serving us was nice and patient with us and helpful. The portions are good. I wish this place was here when I was a student still at St John’s so I didn’t have to trek out to Flushing after class all the time.

Ordered a chicken lunch for $17, and the food was plain and tasteless (just like a previous reviewer noted). Broccoli was hard and not well cooked. Would not go back. Too bad cuz was first time (and only time) ordered here. Took a few bites and then lost my appetite and threw the rest away.

Me and my wife always eat here like twice a month. We even bring the whole family and they enjoy it. Reasonable price food. They also have the soup dumpling. The tea was good.
