My three friends and I went to dinner here for the first time. We were so impressed!!! The food was amazing!! The owners and manager greeted us and were so friendly. We explained we would like the catfish, but it was on the menu as a sandwich and we were avoiding carbs. They offered to make it on a salad. The fish was the best I’ve ever had, the salad was fresh with homemade vinaigrette which was delicious. The drinks were perfect and the waitress was attentive. The atmosphere is so nice, with a Jazzy decor and with a musician playing. I can’t wait to come back!!

The care and time the staff take to cook everything to order is amazing. I have a rather difficult allergy to work around (onions) and the staff have been nothing short of absolutely fantastic. Both cooks came out and checked with me about what they could make, checking each ingredient, and were able to accommodate me. Based on the service ALONE this place is absolutely a hidden gem! The cocktail menu is divine but they don’t mind making you something off the menu. The food is absolutely to die for, even the burger was cooked to perfection! The owner is so sweet and wonderful, we will 1000% be back! The views over the Chemung River don’t hurt either!

Fun, casual atmosphere. Went here on a Saturday night and there was music playing over the speakers, and then a DJ started. DJ’s music was a little loud for the space, but it was fun. They had a smoker out front and told us they were only serving a few BBQ dishes that night. I was initially disappointed that I didn’t get to choose from their regular menu, but the jerk chick I had was very good, as was the corn on the cob and macaroni salad that came with it. I tried two cocktails, which were both good. I will go back, for sure.

I went in here pretty blind since there’s almost nothing about the place on Google or Facebook. At first I was a little disappointed and confused because the menu is completely different from the menu they posted to FB just a few weeks ago. And I came expecting a performer to be playing but there wasn’t. Turns out that the performers play upstairs where food is not served. So you cannot dine and listen to music at the same time. This wasn’t told to us. We found out from overhearing someone else’s conversation. Regarding the menu, I was initially a little miffed at the very different, very small menu offered but I ordered the southern chicken sandwich and it turned out to be AMAZING. The hot honey sauce and aoli on the sandwich were a great flavor combo. Delicious but messy cause of the sauce and very oversized chicken but it was easy to get to a sink to wash afterwards. The menu price range is wide. Sandwiches and burgers are pretty standard price but entrees are very expensive. Service was attentive and friendly. They have a big drink menu and a full bar for cocktails. They do have wine, but it’s not listed on the drink menu so you need to ask the bartender. I recommend getting a reservation. We did not and luckily were able to get a table but it filled up very quickly afterwards. The atmosphere is very loud and busy like a bar and seating is very limited. Since the establishment is small on the dining floor, it gets quite crowded and loud easily. But it is aesthetically attractive inside the dining room. Upstairs they have a small lounge with tables, chairs, couches, and a stage for performers. It’s really nice and I’m glad we have something like this in the area. I would definitely come back to order a drink and sit upstairs and enjoy some live music. Final note: other reviews made me think this was a really upscale place and I needed to dress up. It’s not. I was overdressed. I think you wouldn’t wanna wear sweats here but jeans are totally ok. It’s a nice place but it’s not upscale/high class.

What a wonderful surprise. We ate every entree on the menu and they were all fabulous. We started with 3 appetizers and they were all delicious.

I went there when they first opened. I had a great meal and the atmosphere was nice. I’ve been there TWICE since and BOTH times were told as we walked in the door, there was no dinner service but the bar was open. This was on a Friday and a Saturday night. Before arriving the second time, I called five times within a five hour period and no one ever answered. It’d be helpful if they would post their operations schedule online (bar only, dinner only, bar and dinner open) or at least answer the phone. Unfortunately, this will deter me from returning or recommending to others.

was looking for a nice dinner. the weirdest “meal” I’ve ever sat down for in my life. we asked for the food menu a few times after just being given the drinks menu. a table next to us was going through the same problem and eventually got brought a hand written menu that looks like it was written on the back of receipt paper. probably like three things on the “menu”. we asked to see it and got told we needed to wait until they were done with it! when they were finished the waiter took it away and didn’t come back to us…five… ten… fifteen minutes. eventually we got up and tried to pay for our drinks at the bar and the waiter couldn’t even figure out how to check us out. I realize it may have been any body’s first day or whatever but the worst part is that after all that… nobody even thought to apologize to us. we walked across the street and ate at siams elephant. won’t be back. weird place.

Very unique place for downtown Elmira. We went in on St Patrick’s day and they had a mobile Karoke setup. Cocktails are original and very good!! I’ll be back to check out some Jazz.
