Ok, so I’m extremely picky about my pizza, and I give very few 5-Star ratings on pizzas, but this place earns it without question … Chicago has it’s pizza, and New York has its style, too, as does Detroit, but so does Akron & Youngstown, and the Wizard of Za is clearly a unique Northeast Ohio Style pizza made right here in central Ohio !!! And It’s definitely a must try pizza!!! So Get your slice here now !!! You won’t be disappointed…

Some of the best pizza I’ve had in Columbus. Tons of flavor and customizable options. You can tell they use quality ingredients, which set their flavors apart from a lot of average pizza places.

Great thick crusty pizza and favorable sauce. Primarily carryout. Several tasty choices. If you like spicy go for the Hawaiian.

I can’t speak on the service but the pizza isn’t great! Today we got it catered in and it was cold, burnt, and just all around terrible. The rolls not even cooked. I won’t be returning.

Definitely good pizza. The wizard of za did a good job generating a name and brand for himself and marketing wise has done an excellent job. The product is high quality and delicious. Crisp gently toasted pepperoni, and fresh cut basil on an evenly baked crust. The crust was delicious and crispy all around and the honey added a pleasant twist. The toppings were well portioned.

Use to really love this pizza. The last few times we have ordered, it has been a disappointment. It used to be a thick focaccia crust and was worth $20. Now it’s thin and just doesn’t have the same quality or taste. I’d say there are better options. Always disappointing when a great place like this starts getting poor quality to make a bigger profit.

The crust tasted great, soft and full of milk, like a great bread roll. It sells by slices, which can be a side with sushi. Friendly and quick service with fresh baked pies.

Wizard of Za has always been a favorite among coworkers and friends. With their beautifully crafted pies with all the best fixings and perfectly baked everything, it’s always been a go-to recommendation if someone asks for the best pie around. Unfortunately, one of my recent experiences didn’t live up to my usual expectation. The pie itself was still very well done and delicious – except for the fact there were pieces of plastic in between the crust and sauce. They were decently sized pieces, about an inch in length and half an inch in width; not very appetizing to say the least. Always appreciate the pies, but this one in particular was really disappointing. Aside from the plastic, still a well made and appropriately seasoned pie. (One piece is pictured for reference)

Finally tried Wizard of Za last night. Got the Pepperoni and the Vodka sauce pies. Both were very, very good. The crust on both was very tasty, hearty with a bit of crunch. A bit thicker than where my personal preferences tend to be, but that’s a ‘me’ thing. One of the best focaccia style crusts I’ve ever had. The Pepperoni pie was very good. The hot honey added just a touch of spice and sweet that complimented the pepperoni flavor nicely. 8.5 out of 10.
