Second time back at Wisters and I wasn’t too impressed today. Menu seems to be hit or miss on what’s good. The cornbread waffle was very dry and flavorless today, but the Brunswick stew was spectacular. My biggest complaint/disappointment was the fried pickles and onion petals. I live about 10 minutes away, and by the time I made it home the amount of grease that leaked from the fried food was absurdly disgusting! We ordered the fried Mac and cheese brisket bites and those weren’t greasy at all. In 10 minutes the grease leaked through the paper and box the food was in, as well as the paper bag. Very disappointed as I wasted the money on food I threw right away! My best advice is stay away from the fried food here!

I hate to admit I’ve lived local for years but have never came to Wisters until now But damn it was good !!! Picked up @645p on Saturday night….. Ribs were very good, but a tad dry….. get sauce on the side…. Dry rub wings taste great but are dry. Brisket was a little dry as well. The Bacon Mac & cheese was incredible. Cornbread was pretty damn dry although the honey butter was very tasty but didn’t cover the dryness of the bread, sorry!! …. I’m not one to complain about meals but cook for a few minutes less please because it’ll be perfect. Sauces are great. Buffalo is something else . All in all very nice transaction- online ordering was quick and easy and staff was super friendly.

Beautiful new location with plenty of parking. Great reception, order taking and order pickup area. Food was exceptional. Ordered a rack of ribs which were the best ever and that’s saying something as I’ve had some of the best BBQ our country has to offer.. Also had an order of Smoked wings which were excellent as well. I highly recommend you give Wister’s a try!

I grew up in the south so finding good bbq in PA has been hard for me. This place rivals some of the best bbq I’ve had in Kansas City, Texas and Memphis.

Here for work and was looking for some dinner, did a quick search and found this place with many good reviews. Glad we tried it. Food was really good. Service was excellent. Must be a reason most of their foods were sold out. We have to come back and try the other stuff.

We ordered ribs, collards, Mac n cheese with brisket, coleslaw. The ribs were on the dry side, not sure I would order them again. Mac n cheese with brisket was awesome. Collards were spicy and awesome. The coleslaw was also really good. I think the portions were okay but definitely overpriced. We spent 40.00. Overall I would try again and choose the brisket.

The brisket and pulled pork I tried were 10/10 and the prices are fine. The fries are great except they don’t vent the containers for take-out/delivery which causes the fries to get soggy. I’ll switch my review to 5 stars when they start venting the fries.

Service was quick and staff were very kind. Unfortunately half of the menu was not available to try but what I was able to eat was outstanding. Their tater tots are unique and divine. The beans are sweet and the pork adds a smokey element that I rather enjoyed. Their brioche roll reminds me of auntie Ann’s pretzels, cornbread is a strong competitor for Boston market. Their Nashville hot chicken is fantastic. I will look forward to coming again when they get product back in to be able to try their burgers.

Found this place on accident and so glad we did. There food was so delicious!! First off their ribs are a MUST!! You will not regret ordering them. I have never had ribs so tender and flavorful seriously!! We also order boneless chicken, chicken wings and half fried chicken. The smoke flavor was amazing the perfect amont. Portions were big definitely stuffed ourselves and had plenty to take home. Staff and owner were super nice and made us feel very welcomed. We can’t wait to go again. Pictures do not do it justice.

Ordered wings on recommendation from a co-worker. Awesome, great texture and flavor. Nice size and didn’t have to ask for extra blue cheese, the only place I ever ordered that actually gave you enough!
