I visited Winston’s on a Saturday around noon time and was super excited to give it a try as I have lived in the Caribbean for several years and loved the different variations of West Indies food and flavors. The one thing that was concerning is that the grills were not fired up at all and being cleaned. I assumed maybe that a batch was just made and they had a break from grilling, but when I received my plate of food the rice/plantains were fresh but the chicken was definitely reheated/microwaved or day before chicken and extremely dry. The flavor was excellent, so please I’d love to return but not when you receive reheated chicken or chicken cooked the day before. Thanks and look forward to trying it a second time as I’d like to be a repeat customer to see it was maybe just a fluke.

I would rank Winston’s at the same culinary level as Franklin or Loro (with a smaller range of dishes). Yesterday I ordered each of the entrees for my family. The spice had great balance and each of the central ingredients was prepared perfectly (both flavor and texture). The jerk chicken in particular has what might be the perfect balance of smoke and spice. The portions were more than ample and each plate yielded about 3 meals. I’m pretty critical generally, but I’m very impressed!

We had the best experience at Winston’s tonight! We ordered the brisket, jerk chicken, red snapper, plantains, and wings. Everything was . We enjoyed everything and couldn’t stop eating! The employees working couldn’t have been nicer. They were so sweet to us and even gave us some guava cake as we were leaving. And let me tell you we will be back for more!!! Don’t sleep on this hidden gem!

Man, I’ve been passing by this place thinking it looks great for so long. Was pretty disappointed. Maybe it’s because Winston himself wasn’t there on this Sunday, but my jerk chicken tasted old and burnt, my girlfriend’s curry chicken was bland. People were nice enough, the atmosphere was good, and you can’t mess up Ting, so idk, 3 stars.

I have been eating spicy foods and hot peppers for many years, but never had jerk chicken before. Now I know just how good it is thanks to Winston’s Kitchen. I have been using Winston’s Hot Sauce for many years, but now have a bottle of his Coming in HOT!

I got jerk chicken plate and fried plantains. Chicken was heavenly – so tender off the bone. I’ve had other places make it too salty or too spicy, but Winston’s chicken was just perfect! I can also see his attention to detail in quality of rice and side veggies.

Loooovvvvveeeeee the fried red snapper and fried plantains. Sooo goood and delicious carribean food. Also enjoyed their soursop drink. Their wings are pretty good as well and the brisket was flavorful. Steve and Austin are super attentive and helpful with helping you pick your items if you’re indecisive. Winston is a FANTASTIC cook. He cooks with a lot of flavor and you taste the love with each bite. Def recommend and def will come back. You have to try it!!!

I havent been in person but ordered door dash and the food was still very hot so I know it’s fresh. The jerk chicken wings are very good I don’t know why some people are saying they’re bland. It tastes how jerk chicken is supposed to taste. They can be a little too dry maybe because it’s cooked for a while but overall still very good and the sauce is good any spicy!

Not bad. Rice & peas was deliciously cooked, mixed with steam cabbage, plantain, callaloo & carrots. My jerk chicken; you can taste the smoke flavor which was a delightful change from the norm. Definitely going back & oh, before I forget, the open air eating on wooden bench with table was nostalgic
