Our experience at Wingers in Winnemucca, Nevada was truly delightful. It was a pretty good place. I was staying at the hotel next door and there wasn’t a lot else to eat but they had wings and the wings were pretty good. I also had tenders and I would absolutely recommend the wings. Also they have some good selections for beer and plenty of TVs to watch the game. Also a little casino in the corner.

First of all, I must confess after reading some of the reviews we almost didn’t try Wingers, so glad we did! We had just pulled into to the RV campground next door and after a long day of driving decided to walk over for a cold drink and dinner. We were greeted right away and offered a table but decided to sit at the bar. Missy the bartender recommended their ”drink of the month” to me and my husband had a beer to start. We ordered chips & salsa for $4 off their happy hour menu. Chips were crisp and hot, salsa had good flavor. After ordering another round of drinks we decided to share their “burger of the month” which had cheese stuffed poblano pepper on it. It was fantastic!! Ordered the garlic fries as our side and they were also delicious! Do yourself a favor and just go! Friendly service, good atmosphere and great food!!

The food menu has a wide variety from which to choose what to eat. The service is quite lacking. It was 10 minutes from the time we were seated before any waitress acknowledged our presence. The hostess walked by us three times without checking to see if we had yet been helped. Our waitress finally arrived. When I asked for a beer on their menu she was either unfamiliar with it, or just didn’t know the menu, because she told me they didn’t have that beer. So, I told her to forget any other choices. We ordered food, which then took another 20 minutes to arrive at the table. Not once did our waitress come by to check on us, our food, or ask us if we needed more water. When my water glass was empty I ended up drinking my wife’s water since she was having an Arnold Palmer. Then, the waitress arrived and plunked down our bill and said she would take care of the payment. I said that my wife wanted dessert. As soon as dessert was almost done here comes the waitress with our ticket and asked if we were ready to go. Mind you, there was nobody waiting for a table. I know that because we were seated right near the entrance. The waitress received a tip commensurate with the lack of service we received.

Traveling and stopped in thinking it would be a nice place for family dinner. The waitress could barely be heard as she was talking down into the tablet and not speaking up. She never asked if we’d like refills or a Togo box. Only time we seen her was to take the order, drop off food, and bring the ticket – without asking if we’d like dessert. We witnessed multiple people having to stand at the door for several minutes waiting to be seated because there was no staff in sight. Food… the vegetables weren’t cooked, maybe blanched really quickly and sent out. All in all, not somewhere I’d recommend or return to- any location. Overpriced and subpar service and food.

This place is right next door to a great RV Park(New Frontier) so we tried it. Had a nice welcome at the door. Our server Brisedie was very pleasant and patient with us. There are a lot of choices on the menu. My husband and I split the loaded bird, delicious! We did have to send it back to be warmed up, no problem! The veggies were fresh and bright and not overcooked. Mashed taters also good. We ordered a side of fries, taste like bbq potato chips, done perfectly. They did not mind at all when we had to move because sun was on our eyes, servers came to help with the move. There were 4 of us. Our friends enjoyed their cheeseburger and chicken tacos too

Do not choose the fish. It tastes, old and wet. Not flaky very limp. my fries came out without the garlic, I tried to take the whole plate back with the fish and everything. When I got the fries back, they had re-dipped the fries in the fryer and added garlic. Made the fries taste very hard. drinking cups are so old. They are cracked on the bottom and leaking onto the table. Tortilla chicken soup was good. I would’ve given one extra star but the bartender reacted shocked like the food is always good and there are never problems and why was I having a problem.

Service person was trainings someone during our visit, when we wanted to check out, she was busy with the Pepsi-Cola guy working in the bar and couldn’t check us out so finally, I had to interrupt them to get her attention to check us out so we can leave the restaurant terrible service. The coleslaw was under a heat lamp or something because it was hot. I’ve never had hot coleslaw.
