This was my first time here and I had an amazing experience! The soft shell crab was to die for! Also, our waitress Rebecca was fantastic and made our night so much fun! She talked and joked with us the entire time and made sure that we had everything we needed! It was my first time here as I said but I will be back right away! 5 stars isn’t enough!

It started off good but then our waiter (taller, kinda balding blonde hair) said that we could not leave the splash of Tabasco off our clams when this would of been a simple thing to do. As the night went on, the table next to us was able to get it done but we weren’t. Once I stared eating the clams, they unfortunately had silt in them. For a fine dining establishment, this is completely unacceptable and no one apologized or did anything to fix it. Then we waited almost 40 minutes to get our main entree and when I got my food it wasn’t even complete. Not counting the 15-20 minutes in between us ordering, getting our appetizer, and salad. Then we ordered desert to go and we’re told they didn’t have that desert. The waiter told me he discounted it off my bill like I received the desert and handed me my bill without the opportunity to choose another desert that we were going to pay for.

We have been coming to Winfield’s for over 20 years and can’t say enough good things about it. The food is great and the service impeccable. Their temporary closure I hope is truly that. Good luck to all the staff.

My wife and I tried Winfield’s after hearing my parents and their friends rave about it. What a terrific experience we had! The food and ambience are both fantastic. But what made the experience so enjoyable for us was the attentiveness of the staff. My wife has several serious food allergies, so trying a new restaurant can be a worrisome experience for us. We were so pleased that Nikki, the manager, took the time to not only understand my wife’s food allergies, but also to discuss them with the servers and kitchen staff. This level of caring and attentiveness is difficult to find in other locations. Thank you to Nikki and the entire staff for making this such a wonderful and relaxing dining experience. We can’t wait to go back to Winfield’s again!

From the run down outside, the inside looks great compared to the depressing area. This place is trying way too hard to be a high end restaurant in a very poor region. You don’t see Hiltons in the ghetto. The prices, feel like I got robbed. The food is 50/50, my food was horrible but my wife’s was decent. If your looking for good food at reasonable prices, go anywhere else

Always a relaxed, inventive meal. With many favorites, tonight I tried the halibut stew. It was perfect! The basic menu is great, but be ready to listen to the wait staff as they list the many specials. Love Winfield’s! We are so lucky to have a restaurant of this caliber.
