Spectacular food, drinks and service! We got to sit in the “alley” behind the bar since I brought my dog. Wine Cellar made my dog (and me and my parents), feel like guests of honor. Our bottle of wine was wonderful, we shared a couple salads that were all delicious, and our entrees were spot-on. I’m not sure if my dog tasted her special steak dinner because she inhaled it. It has such a cozy and welcoming atmosphere, with fine dining experience. I’m just sad this place isn’t in Denver because I’d come here all the time, but will be back every time we visit my parents!

Absolutely best service I’ve ever gotten. They were closing up for the night when my new fiancé and I were just coming in the door unknowing that they were done serving and everyone decided to stay and make us an amazing dinner out of the kindness of their hearts without us even asking. Absolutely outstanding food and wine as well. This place a must if you like good food and plan to be in Rapid City SD.

I cannot say enough good things about this place. Christy and her staff went above and beyond to make my fiancé and I a wonderful, delicious dinner even though they had just closed for the night Christy was kind enough to still welcome us in. From the entrees and wine to the dessert, everything was exceptional tasting and the hospitality was outstanding. We loved how everything was homemade and locally sourced. We will definitely be back next time we are in town.

Great wine selection and the food is delicious. A more Europe take to dining, everything is made fresh per order so it takes a little longer but good quality food is worth the wait! The location is great, right in the middle of downtown. The perfect spot for a romantic date night.

I visit this restaurant once a month with my sister-in-law. Our experience is nothing short of amazing every time we sit down. The wine is great, the food is so well seasoned it’s almost insane, and the service is impeccable. We have always had Danielle, who is courteous and personable and clearly enjoys her job, but every interaction we’ve had with other staff has been great, as well. Smaller restaurant, so I’d recommend a reservation, and plan to leave with a lighter wallet than you came with; the price is worth the experience.

Excellent risotto, salmon was overcooked. Chicken pot pie was delicious as was beet salad although dressing was a little too tart. Service was uneven, empty plates sat for a long time, and very little help with the menu. Hostess was rather unfriendly and restaurant was incredibly noisy.

The Wine Cellar restaurant is a personal favorite for my wife and I for special occasions such as wedding anniversaries and birthdays. The food is absolutely wonderful in both presentation and quality. The service is a perfect combination of professionalism and personal hospitality. Every time we dine there we are reminded of the ambiance of a European bistro. At the expense of revealing a hidden gem, we highly recommend the Wine Cellar.
