I went there for the first time ever after living out here for about 5 years. I’ve been told they had the best burger around. I was not disappointed. Burger was delicious. I had jalapeños poppers too and was happy to see they were cream cheese poppers. I will definitely be back. The customer service was spectacular and they were apologetic for the wait. I only waited 5 mins extra, which to me is nothing because the food was quality. Thanks again for the awesome lunch and keep up the great work.

When I want some gooooood food, that isn’t commercialized, this is it. Yes it’s more than Wendy’s or mcd’s but here they want to serve you fresh, home style food and they take care of you. It’s a small place but those are always the best. Eat in your car, bring it home or snag one of the five seats that they have available. Truly won’t be disappointed 🙂

The first time I stopped in I had the fish sandwich and fries. Fish was good but fries were soggy. The second time I stopped in for an order of onion rings and a soda. Onion rings were just ok. Today I stopped in for an order of jalapeno poppers and a soda. The poppers tasted the way a musty old basement smells. As soon as I bit into it, I questioned the freshness of them, because of the taste. I ended up throwing them away. The lady in the window said she sells a lot of them. I won’t order them from here again. A waste of money

Specifically ordered WELL DONE burgers (2). The fries are always soggy but thought maybe if requested burgers could be well cooked. Burgers were pink and rare. Not going to order anymore from there this is not the first time. Shame, because we love to support local small businesses. If you like rare burgers this is your place.

Windy Hill Grill used to be a Hidden Gem in Kankakee county. This is no longer the case. They no longer offer free fries with any of their meals unless it is the daily special or a seafood special. They also are out of Many Items if you do not come early enough and they also close their doors early so be aware of this as well. Very dissatisfied most likely will not come back. The food here is always very good but the service needs to be reevaluated as soon as possible.

Wonderful experience from the lady that takes the orders to the man that cooks it was an outstanding experience she was wonderful she took time with us it was eight of us she got everybody’s order correct and the food was outstanding hot big shrimp steakburgers the cook came out and check on us and make sure that everything was alright and we love that thank you so much

Food was not as good as the reviews made it seem and I only got a cheese burger. Customer service was terrible, I went in to ask for a couple extra ketchup packets and the guy in the back start cursing me out because he said 2 packets was enough. Very upset I gave them my money, Wouldn’t recommend this place.

Ok so I’ve eaten here before and I know what I’m walking into ok? I think today might have been my last now. It’s just soooo over priced for what you get. The hotdog was nothing fancy at all. Could have had more relish and onion on it and mustard too. The fries where how but not crispy at all and soggy. Then I asked if there was ketchup in the bag for the fries and the lady said yes. Well yeah but 2 packets of ketchup ain’t gonna cut it for a large fry. My burger was really good but nothing special. Just your average burger you can get up north for a buck or 2 cheaper. Now for my sons hotdog. I asked for a hotdog with ketchup and pickle only. They put gosh darn hamburger pickles on it lol and not a spear! Are you kidding me? For 2 hotdogs, cheeseburger, and large fry it was over $21!! That’s like $15 up north with the same quality if not better and more food for your money too. Also only certain items come with fries now. They are pricing themselves out of business for what you get.
