What I received was just ok. I was very surprised based on how busy the place always is. Next time I will try a burger to give them another shot, but those did not look to appetizing at the time. My club sandwich had a ton of mayonnaise on it but was fine other than that. The fries were average and not crispy. Part of this may be due to how busy the lunch rush is, but that has to be your bread and butter for downtown establishments.

Guy running counter was efficient but food is terrible. BBQ burger is a burger with a tasteless BBQ sauce, the fries have almost no flavor, the beef patty was heavy, and the bun was so massive, you could barely taste anything

The burgers were great! The atmosphere is calm. The owner was very nice and catered to every need or detail on our order. Offers tap/Apple Pay. I had the 1/3 lb cheeseburger. Buns are toasted and add extra flavor!

Nestled under the walkway between Hyatt and an office building, this local dining spot has been offering fast food lunch options to hungry diners in downtown Houston for several years. The menu is straight forward with a variety of hamburgers, sandwiches, and good ol’ fashioned baskets. The service is quick and the burgers tasty. If you are in downtown and looking for a fast-food option with a quick bite to eat, wimpy’s is a good place to have lunch.

What a slamin’ burger. I thought triple meat the amount of cheese. I was so excited and surprised I was wtong… triple MEAT!!! Delicious and juicy burger that deserves a regular visit. The owner was so helpful and had a good laugh about my mistake, but was truly happy to be there after so many years.
