All in all I thought the ribs were great and I would definitely come back. I guess you could say they were a tad chewy, but the flavor is all there and they are very meaty. Some of the best pork ribs i’ve had in the area. I think they should work on a better system in regards to taking orders as I noticed a lot of people waiting around, but they just re-opened so give ‘em a chance. I’ve never been to the old location, but I would most definitely come back here. Support your local businesses!

I was excited about going back to Wilson’s until I got home. The ribs were chewy and potato salad was like eating raw potatoes. I really want to come back but, I don’t want the same experience. The girl that took my order was sweet but, food….. not what I expected

Best rib joint in Pittsburgh. The “NorSide” desperately needed this rib spot back! Wilson’s is awesome. Hot and spicy sauce available along with Sweet & Tangy. also on the menu with great sides!

My ribs were chewy and a little tough. I had to put mine in the oven with a pan of water to soften them up. I was disappointed because Years ago when they were open, the ribs were Delicious! For the amount of people behind the counter service was slow, and they forgot to put bbc sauce on our other order. I hope they get it together soon.

The food was terrible!! It was nothing like Old Wilson’s BBQ on North Taylor Street where they used a smoker pit with a big door and ribs and chicken were smoked for hours and they would sell out practically everyday. The New Wilson’s BBQ used open grills with no lids. They ribs were tough and I had to bake them in the oven for another hour.

Miss the old place a lot. I’m originally a Northsider, and my family grew up on the nothside and are close to the Wilson family. When the last place burned down, I think it’s safe, but sad to say, it took the great tasting food with it. My last meal at the new place wasn’t satisfying, and it hurt to say that. My gram is a long-time resident and knew after the first bite something was missing. I wish the business well because northsiders know the history. But we need that old sensation back. Mr George, where you at?

I highly recommend Wilson’s BBQ. The food was excellent! The staff was friendly and very family oriented. They made me feel welcomed. The rib and chicken dinners were both delicious! Aw man I’ll be back for more!

The process to get your food needs improved. Stood in line for over 30 minutes. The chicken was still a little raw I had to put it in the toaster oven when I got home. Once cooked it was ok not worth the wait. The sides were just ok too. Glad I got the sauce on the side the mild bbq sauce has a high vinegar taste not good. I’ll continue to take the drive to Homewood to showcase bbq.

Chicken is bloody at the bone and tough. They use a rub instead of the sauce that was so good. It is cooked in a smoker which would not be bad if they let the meat cook long enough.

So sad the chicken wasn’t fully cooked had barely any sauce. The Mac n cheese was oily and The ribs were just
