Wilson’s has some of the best happy hour in town. Cannot beat the deal on wings. All snacks are half off and served as a generous portion. Kale salad was summery, light, and refreshing. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating with fire pits.

Cute and easy spot for BBQ. We enjoyed the pulled pork, pork belly and coleslaw. We thought the chicken was a little over brined/heavy dill taste.

Wilson County Barbecue is my go-to place for some of the best fried chicken biscuit in town. The friendly service and great draft list only add to the experience. I’m willing to drive 70-100 miles just to get a taste of their great food. Their BBQ is top-notch, and the beautiful brick building gives it a cozy feel.

This is, hands down, the best BBQ I have had in a long time if not ever. Every item is just delicious to eat. I am excited to go back and this time… I’m bringing friends! A must try. A+ service and I can’t give a good enough rating on the food. ✨ The fried pickles and homemade Jalapeno ranch is out of this world. Do yourself a favor and try it.

Really good fried chicken, baked beans and hush puppies. Long wait for getting our food, but it was father’s day. Worth the wait for sure will be back.

We have been to Wilson County Barbecue close to half a dozen times in the past year, and we’ve never left disappointed. As a matter of fact, the more we visit this restaurant the more we love it. It reminds me of some of the incredible southern food we’ve had in Georgia and North Carolina, albeit a bit more expensive. We have tried most of their menu and are always beyond satisfied with the quality of the food and how delicious everything is.

Update, I tried the fried chicken biscuit with gravy and it was tasty. It was a bit on the salty side of things but that’s how I like my food! Also had the pork belly and pulled pork– both super tasty.

My first visit here was this past weekend when I was in Portland for a wedding. I’m originally from the south, so I am always preparing for disappointment at BBQ places outside of that region.
