We enjoy good BBQ, especially brisket. The had a nice smoky flavor with a nice bark on it. We also had the smoke sausage. For sides, we had coleslaw, potato salad, macaroni and cheese, and baked beans. The cornbread was a little dry. The brisket was worth the trip to Springfield.

Great little dive with very good service. The smell walking in is worth the stop. Recommended!

What a great time. The acoustic music by Leah was fabulous. The brisket nachos were perfectly delicious. Quick service. Everyone was very polite. Will definitely be back on a Thursday night.

Phenomenal food and open later on Sundays than most BBQ joints. Friendly staff and owner. Will gladly drive the half hour-45 min from Nashville anytime I get the hunkering for some true Southern BBQ.

Some of the best Brisket and sides we’ve ever had. So incredibly flavorful. Give them a try ASAP. You will NOT be disappointed!

Delicious food and great service. The pulled pork was excellent as well as the baked beans. The mac’n’cheese was unusual: very peppery, not liked by the kids. The ladies working were very kind and helpful.

The food was ok. Brisket was very fatty and flavorless. Sausage was good but very overpriced. Greenbeans are just canned (not what I expect for a $19 plate). Coleslaw was ok nothing special. The kids said Mac and Cheese was good. The corn bread was dry. I will not be wasting my money here.

The staff was very nice and friendly, the bbq was too salty and it was like there was Liquid Smoke flavoring in it and there was a little too much as well. The music was way too loud for me. Could even carry on a conversation at a normal voice. Others may like the food but I’m kinda picky about bbq. I didn’t speak to anyone about the food nor noise, I just wanted to get out of the loud music.

Great food! I will look for excuses to travel to Springfield in the future. Pro Tip: the smoker is in the restaurant, so wear clothes that you don’t mind smelling like heaven after you leave.
