We are reverent of our history with commitments to authenticity. What is authentic anymore? Our time spent eating our way through NYC in the early 2000’s as we opened everything from casual Med-American to Michelin Star Italian? Could it be our unwavering diligence in sourcing farm to table freshness locally and our family commitment to the small scale farmers growing piennelo cherry tomatoes used to sweeten our pizza sauce instead of sugar? Is it the commitment to the energy of the 5 Boroughs and their diverse pizza traditions? Our reverence comes with equal parts rebellion in our cooking as well. These same influences have driven us to create flavors all our own. Most importantly, these are the things that have driven us to cook for you.

I’ve been here many times and should have written this earlier. The pizza is Wood Fired and not your traditional pizza chain pizza…way better! I’ve had the Wild Blue Pizza, tasted my friend’s Carni Mundo pizza and enjoyed the Todo Funghi pizza several times This time, I went with the Greek salad, Wild Wings and a nice bottle of wine. Salad was fresh and delicious and the wings were FULL wings with just the right amount of kick.

DELICIOUS local gourmet pizza joint! Personal sized 10” pizzas are perfect for when everyone wants something different or for trying a couple of new recipes. The monster 18” pie is great when you need to feed a larger crew. Conveniently located in the Village at Leesburg shopping area next to the movie theatre and near Bowlero.

Had a mommy and me get together and it was a blast! Kiddos had lots of fun at their blackboard and chalk wall while the adult ladies enjoyed chatting and sipping rosé sparkling wine (good bottle prices btw). Food was prompt and very good and their menu is pretty good. Needless to say their pizzas were phenomenal and also the pastas they served. Service was prompt and polite. Def will go back. They have a nice front patio, an indoor bar area and was told they have a private room as well in the back. This is a great place for a date or a family outing.

Just moved onto the River Market area and was testing out places and tried this pizza joint and it was very good. Had the Carni Mundo and the Wild Blue. The pizza’s were very tasty and were cooked perfectly to a nice leopard bottom crust. …They had my favorite wheat beer the Franziskaner Hefeweizen. The waitress/bartender Sophia was great … friendly and welcoming … which made the experience nice. They have a great sitting bar area if you just wanna and beer. There’s a nice outdoor patio area ( nicely lit up at night). The joint is quite big and very clean. Great and decor. The only thing that was a turn off was the “QR” ordering system… it was a bit convoluted. But Sophia helped us through it.

We tried Wild Wood for the first time last night and I’m blown away- we got the “Out Pizza’d” and “Wild Blue” and both were absolutely amazing- the quality is insanely good, it was fresh, wide variety of toppings and great beer and wine selection. We will DEFINITELY be back, and to throw some axes next time! The GM Curtis was so friendly. Amazing indoor vibes, we will be recommending this place to all of our friends and family!

Wild Wood Pizza was a nice stop for traditional, wood fired pizza. The staff was great, friendly and has good recommendations. The pizza was thin crust fired in a wood burning oven and the tools were great. There’s a gluten free crust option and lots of options to build your own pizza. Five pizza slice review

I’d met Curtis online through friends. My wife is from Western NY, and very picky about pizza. We were going to Delirium, another of his restaurants, and I decided we should try Wild Wood too. It was her birthday, and pizza would be the perfect comfort food to enjoy while staying in. We got Margherita and San Andreas pizzas, a caesar salad and meatballs. The pizzas were done perfectly, with a crispy crust that you could pick up folded with no sag. The salad was good, but the meatballs stood out. My wife didn’t know that meatballs were a specialty, and the key staple of Balls of Glory that he’d also founded. A great combination.

Delicious pizza and delicious salads. Really cool vibe. I was not expecting axe throwing when I got inside. Definitely planning on making this place one of my regulars.

First time there. Good food (wild mushrooms recommended), clean polite staff & fast service. Went for pumpkin painting & pizza making. Theonly thing I would change would be for the staff member demonstrating how to make the pizza use a microphone. Couldn’t hear in the back corner.
