I’m a HUGE fan. Family recipes cooked to order by caring dedicated owners! I love the chili rellano..have had both meat and vegetarian and their salads..ceviche. and beans are wonderful!! Have been going for years but always want to let everyone in on the secret…also..amazing mole!!

It’s a small local business with a lot of charm. We started with the Mushroom Ceviche. It was so nice on a hot day and the hint of lime was great on the mushrooms. Then I had the steak tacos. They smelled wonderful and everything tasted fresh. The staff was friendly and made sure we had refills.

LOVED our visit here. My husband and I have been trying to visit for awhile after Wild Rooster was part of the Sacramento Vegan Chef Challenge and we definitely should’ve came here sooner!They have a separate vegan menu and many things on the regular menu can be made vegan as well. Our vegan enchiladas and sopes were super delicious and we had amazing service. We highly recommend this restaurant and plan to visit often now 🙂

I’m a new vegan and needed a quick meal. Wild Rooster Bistro came recommended by staff at Sunflower Restaurant who closes early (5pm) on Tuesday and Sunday’s. And wow, THERE WERE CHOICES! I came home with veggie fajitas. Carnivores have all their usual stuff, but there are vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free option all over the menu. They are thinking of everyone!

We passed this restaurant as we walked around old Fair Oaks park. We are glad we decided to go in for lunch. The service was prompt and friendly. We ordered chips and salsa which were both homemade and delicious. Our lunch was delicious as well. We would definitely go back. A small establishment that stands up to larger Mexican restaurants. This was far better!

OMG! One of the best restaurants I have ever visited! The quality and creativity in the food is like something you would get at a 5 star restaurant. My favorite was dishes were Chile Relleno, sopes, chilaquiles and the walnut dessert.

Great service, the plating of the food was gorgeous and carefully done. The flavors were as expected for the meal. Solid standard mexican restaurant options but definitely the best vegan vegetarian option in the area.
