Awesome customer service, some great tunes, and tasty food. We truly appreciated all of the heart and soul that went into making our food. Although I didn’t particularly care for the barbecue sauce provided, the food was made hot and fresh. This place does not have fountain drinks but offer a variety of bottled and can options.

Cheesy place … you get a huge sandwich, full of non edible and smelly combination of pickles and a small amount of ground meat soaked in bbq sauce. They call it Chicago style. Ended up eating French fries and drink soda.

Absolutely delicious! Tiny hole in the wall place that is cozy, cute, and clean! Their bathrooms and seating are family, wheelchair, and plus size friendly! I ordered their Chicago polish dog and it was so good and full of flavor with a great texture and temperature. I also got their fried mushrooms and they were perfect! Crispy crunchy and hot I even had some with the full stem!!! It was exciting! Took a few photos. 10/10 recommend!

What an experience! Very friendly staff and very good food that’s proud of what it is. The sausage I got was like four times the thickness of a normal hot dog, and they deep fried it before putting it on the griddle! Incredible!

I absolutely love this restaurant! The wonderful people that work here are so welcoming and kind. And the food – incredible. It’s genuine, authentic Chicago food. We decided to share several dishes; the serving sizes were generous and everything was delicious!!! If you’re up for some magic, try the the blue raspberry milkshake – it won’t disappoint!!!

So glad Wide Daddy’s is in my neighborhood. So far, nothing has disappointed me. Had the Chicago Street Polish and it was wonderful. The grilled onions made this pop. Also had the Italian Beef sandwich. The portions were spot on and the spicy Italian Polish dog was amazing.

This place is delicious, I’ve had everything from a plain hot dog to a pork chop sandwich. My only complaint is there are no fountain drinks, but that’s hardly even a complaint. So what are you doing not getting food here?? Get your butt there and feed not only your body but your soul as well!

Food was great. Small little place friendly people that work there. I had the combo Whiting fish with three pieces of shrimp I was surprised how big the fish were. My wife had one of the sandwiches and the flavoring was really good.

I don’t normally leave reviews. I just came here for the first time tonight and I definitely want to go back to try more. I really loved how friendly they are. I never had Chicago food so I tried the Chicago dog with sport peppers relish grilled onions tomatoes and pickles…. My goodness this was soooo delicious I loved the bun too. My boyfriend had the Italian beef wet with trio peppers and mozzarella. He said next time he would get dry if we are getting to go just to save the bun a little. I tried a bite and I loved all the flavors popping off in my mouth. The French fries are really good. We split the onion rings and mozzarella sticks and everything was fried perfectly. I love onion rings and these are probably my favorite! Super crunchy!! I really want to come back and try a whiting fish sandwhich! They fry really good so I know it’s gotta be good. Thanks for excellent service and tasty food!!!
