Fun venue that shares the dining space with a bar and a few other restaurants. This location is now called “The Trap Shack” instead of “Wicked Main Lobster”. We tried a few items…”The Maine Roll” won out for flavor against their “The OG” in a battle of the lobster rolls according to two in our group. They also mentioned it was probably the best they’ve ever had. The “CBAD Lobster Tacos” were good – definitely needed a hit of freshly squeezed lemon juice. We also snagged some perfectly cooked tater tots. Absolutely worth checking out.

This place used to be Wicked Main Lobster and had excellent lobster rolls. Would visit every time I was in town. Now it’s rebranded as “The Trap Shack”(look and you’ll see it on the map) and the quality has suffered. The lobster on the “OG” is less buttery and overcooked. They offer other menu items but tater tots instead or fries, no Taco Tuesday and other downgrades. Still very fun atmosphere but a disappointment in terms of taste of the previous place’s signature item.

PSA THEY CHANGED TO “THE TRAP SHACK” Not very good food. For the insane price. I got there 2 most popular items, lobster roll OG and loaded queso tots. Total was $52.00? Small portions and you don’t get drinks with either “meal” super disappointing.

Ordered two Maine lobsters rolls combos, was a lil disappointed with the size of the rolls, I was hoping for a bigger roll but it was bomb! buttery and full of flavor. We also ordered a bowl of clam chowder which was also delicious. For the two combos and clam chowder we paid around $77. Great location only a block away from our hotel. Location also has a bar with happy hour M-F. Highly recommend this place.

Cruised into this place hoping for some great food. It was mediocre. We ordered the tacos, a roll and the Mac n cheese. The fish tacos were good once we got the chowder off of them, the meat was tasty and potato’s, but chowder on top no thanks. The roll was OK plenty of lobster, i chose butter on it, maybe should’ve gone with the Mayo the fries were crispy and tasty. Now what saved this review was the Mac n cheese. I mean seriously, how can you screw up Mac n cheese with a bunch of lobster on it.

Lobster rolls are lacking, a lot of bread and very little lobster. Given the price, the should have more lobster. Had to go ask for our food after a long wait. It was cooked and waiting, kid at counter never buzzed us.

Totally disappointed in the food and service. Actually it wasn’t even the wicked main lobster place after all somewhere along the line they sold it . We drove all that way for nothing. It was so bad we won’t even be going to the actual wicked main lobster place ever. Forget about finding a parking spot.

Taco Tuesday Lobster Taco Special was AMAZING!!! Family was skeptical but we devoured it!! Veteran discount was great. I will say if you’re not used to California prices it seems pricey but it’s a LOT of food and seafood at that. One of my favs now!!
