My first visit at Whitt’s was when they were giving away free barbecue to the Veterans. They are givers back to the community and their church above and beyond the call of duty. Their integrity flows into their delicious food! I especially like their chicken legs and loaded baked potatoes. Their barbecue is wonderful and their prices are very reasonable. The service has always been fast and friendly. I highly recommend them!

They have good pork barbeque, awesome thin sauce, gigantic loaded baked potatoes that are fantastic, friendly staff, and daily specials. Apart from them being the only place to get barbeque in Waverly, they have good food and highly recommend them if you’re in Waverly and are in the mood for some barbeque!

Good wings at a great price for 50 cents on a Tuesday. Side dishes on a platter are on the small side. I found the Cole slaw bland. Would eat those wings again.

I have been to a lot of Bbq places and I have eaten some not so great Bbq, but I have to say this was the worst! We drove an hour to get to this place. We were the only customers when we walked in at 12:22. The girl let us know that they will be closing at 12:30 even though their sign said 3pm, but that we could still stay to eat. We ordered our food ( by the way, no fries?) and sat down. I went to get the only high chair in the restaurant for my daughter, but the entire thing was disgusting and covered in Bbq sauce. She had to sit in my lap while we ate. They brought our food out and we were all very disappointed. The vegetables tasted like cheap canned vegetables and the Bbq was watery and lacked flavor. I put the mild Bbq sauce on my sandwich and it was basically black water. It looked like someone diluted it. We got another bottle with the same label off another table and it was fine, but it was too late for my sandwich. The water sauce had ruined it and it tasted horrible! Other customers tried to come in after us but they had already locked the doors. We will not be back and honestly I don’t recommend it to anyone. I don’t ever leave reviews, but I had to warn others before you went here.
