My experience just continues to get worse every time I come. The food has always been delicious, but the service is blah. The lady taking my order barely spoke, and she acted like I was annoying her. Come back again, and there is another lady there, and she does not even acknowledge me. Flies were everywhere, so that’s why I gave them 3 stars for the atmosphere.

Fresh, hot, plentiful, flavored home cooked meals. As an OTR Driver stuck with fast food, this place is and was much appreciated! Atmosphere a lil boringly bright, but if you’re just trying to fill your gut and go on about your business this is the place. Someone like me that sleeps in their rig….it’s hard to wind down as dine in. Overall FANTASTIC food, service and prices.

amazing owner and staff!!! I used to live close by years ago and used to go all the time but then moved away. i happened to be by there right at 9 and decided to stop in and grab some food becaise i missed them thinking they were open till 10 on a friday night. the owner was locki g the door as i walked up because they close at 9…it was 9. i hung my head because i was excited to get some food. this gentleman unlocked the door and welcomed me in. working in the food industry when i was younger, i understood how frustrating that is and told them i was OK i didnt want to cause them to get out later. the staff and the owner said come on in and cooked me up some fresh food and hooked me up with a few extras. Please stip in and support these people. amazing staff and restaurant!!!! 10 stars all the way!!!

The chicken is ALWAYS amazing, and the bbq is some of the best. Lots of flavor with both, but never mushy or too much with the seasonings. Staff is always friendly and on point with the service.

My husband Ordered the three piece fried fish at 4 o’clock in the afternoon. Took it home ..thank goodness I had him get the coleslaw Put separate. Some of the french fries fell underneath the fish. She told me they were big pieces. There was one piece that was maybe the size of my hand the other two look like half pieces, the grease that the french fries and the fish were swimming in was the whole bottom of the Styrofoam plate and the fish was very overdone.. it was hard and thin pieces… People were nice as always there…the slaw and hush puppies were good. Waited until covid died down to get takeout at restaurant. My husband never complains but was so disappointed.

My first and last time. Was working in the area and stopped to use the restroom. Wasn’t gonna order because of the feeling and the looks I got walking in. Ordered a chicken breast sandwich 2 min later a lady sat the bag on the counter and said, ” chicken breast” while walking off to the eating area. I picked up the bag and put my hand inside. The chicken was cold like it was sitting there since lunch. I said, ” your selling cold chicken, wow.”

No frills – but fast service from a wonderful full menu of daily specials, with your choice of meat and two vegetables! From their daily special for Monday, I chose their hamburger steak with “mashed” tater tots (really good!) and their brunswick stew. My friend got their fried pork chops with green beans (seasoned with pork) and potato salad. I posted pics of both. We were originally planning on trying their barbecue and fried chicken, but will do so next time!
