I have had a lot of fish dinners, but the one I had at a white Springs Supper Club was one of the VERY best. I really liked the seasoning on the breading and on the fish. Additionally, the tartar sauce was very good. Along with the fish came a salad bar. The deviled eggs were awesome! The crowd was friendly, and the waitstaff was exceptional. Downed it all with a well done whiskey old fashioned, it’s been a long time since I wrote a review, but this was a one worth writing.

Totally great restaurant. Salad bar and amazing food in historic restaurant that operated in the same ambiance and restaurant style and menu as 40 plus years ago. Romantic or just casual. Fine dining but casual. Amazing upstairs area perfect for wedding party’s banquets private party’s.

The last prime rib was really good even though they were out of a lot which was ok as they announced closing. I don’t think they did the relish trays towards the end but I will miss this place!

Had a very nice meal with excellent wait staff! Ordered Prime Rib, it was very tasty. The ribs are smokey with good flavor as well, the chicken dinner was good. All portions were larger than average, and the relish tray was sufficiant for the 4 of us. So glad to see White Springs back in business! We will visit again!

We had a wonderful experience. The owner was extremely friendly. He even opened the upstairs so we could go check it out for nostalgia. Our server was knowledgeable, friendly and just plain good at her job. The food and drinks were delicious. Can’t wait to go back!

The French onion soup is homemade and FULL of flavor. The broiled walleye and fried catfish were cooked to perfection and also had excellent flavor. Even the handlebar with cheese and onion were amazing. Highly recommend.

First of all the hostess was very nice when we got there, then they tried to fit our party of 11 at a small table. After we let her know we would not physically fit together on that table and had to move some of us to the next table, she angrily removed place mats and silverware and was never seen again. We had to ask several times for water and straws for the kids. And the last time we asked, when the waitress asked if we were ready, she literally told me to wait until she was done talking. The Salad bar was almost half empty and wasn’t refilled. Every order of hash browns had 2 different kinds of raw onions mixed in with them. The prime rib tasted old, bland, and awful. They told us their special was pretzel bites and then when we wanted to order them, we were told they were out of cheese. Also they were all out of milk and we had 3 kids disappointed. And to top it off, if you have a party of 8 or more they add 18% to your bill automatically, even though we had to move half of us to a different table and had 6 different bills separated. And half of us didn’t enjoy our meal. The only pleasant part of my night was the bartender, she was fantastic. Very friendly. Wouldn’t come again.

We had a great dinner at the White Springs Supper Club. The atmosphere was great, and the staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. Our meals were great as was the Brandy Alexander I had for dessert! We will definitely come back when we are in the area!

Family favorite memories, going for dinner when ever we came to town to visit grandma and grandpa in Elkader. It was pretty fun to hear all the tables around us sharing similar stories with our server, who did a great job and was very attentive. We had to start off with the Onion Rings, which were perfect, the same as when I remember from my youth, that made me like onions! These are the kind of onion rings I hope to get from other places and i am always disappointed! These were sweet, barely battered and fried to a great level where the onion is just cooked and still has a bit of bite. LOL, my favorite food., can you tell. Went with my mother and Aunt and we all enjoyed our food, Patty Melt, Philly Steak and Cheesburger, you can tell how good they are from the pics! Fries were crispy and fluffy. We ordered the relish tray and that was the disappointment, especially for 9$. Not sure why they served crackers with it, no cheese or cheese spread or ham salad and not everything even had 3 things so we could all have a pickle or apple slice. Even though that little bit of nostalgia did not met up with expectations. We still all agreed well worth the drive from Cedar Rapids and we will be back with freinds
