I feel like i stepped into Thailand ! The service is on the cooks’ time, and the food is what you get. Her creations show a lifetime of knowledge and cooking skills . The culture she displays is her cooking and restaurant is absolutely amazing . 1000% recommended. If you don’t have a heat tolerance , ask for 0 spice , it is hot otherwise. absolutely an amazing restaurant and place to eat . The little lady who cooks has a heart of gold ✨️ I will totally be visiting her on the regular .

To foodies near and far, try this authentic gem. Ms Lily is a wonderful person and we made great conversation together, in the short time I was there. I called in for a carry out order: 2 Tum Yum Soups, 2 Spring Rolls, a Pad Thai and a Thai Honey Chicken. I wish I would have eaten it fresh from the stove, but it was incredible none the less. She will ask you how spicy you’d like, tell her from a 1 to 10. I ordered a 3 on both entrees. It was spicy, but the spice didn’t burn long. I ate the Pad Thai and my partner ate the Thai Honey Chicken. He said the sauce was light but very flavorful with many nice spices. I thoroughly enjoyed the many flavors of mine. Before I forget, and what I should have said first, is that the Tum Yum soup is bomb. We killed ours before we ate anything so I didn’t get a picture of it.. I did manage a shot before I killed my Spring Roll, and it was absolutely divine. I hope this helps get you there! The other positive reviews are also very relevant!!

White Lotus is still one of the best food spots in all of Dayton! The inside hasn’t changed at all in the last 15 years and that’s really what makes the place special unlike any other place in downtown Dayton. The food is still perfectly curated for anything you would like. The chicken pad Thai was lovely the burgers are always a hit. Whenever I come in the town I have to go here because it takes me back to my college days. The owner greets you warmly and makes you feel like you are her child. This is a special special place and it holds a very rare spot in the hearts of many.

My boyfriend and I stopped by after seeing some of the pictures in the reviews. This place did not disappoint, do not let the appearance fool you. It’s a one woman show and she is killing it. If you are in a hurry or are just impatient then don’t stop here. She cooks everything fresh to order right in front of you and the ingredients are freshly cut, well worth waiting for. Peppers, onions, broccoli and meat all looked great as she was cooking. We had Thai noodle soup, pepper steak and honey Thai chicken.

Mama is the best personality in all of Dayton’s culinary scene. She stayed open late to serve our group of 10 dinner and made us laugh the entire time. The cuisine is Thai-American and we ordered just about one of everything. She is careful with her spice level because another person gave her a 1 star rating for too much spice. Well don’t order the spicy food if you can’t handle spice other grumpy user. I thought the food, spice, flavors and pricing were all amazing. I will definitely be back and recommending this place to other.

This was my first trip! I ordered Thai Noodle soup and it was so delicious. Lots of flavor and the noodles were perfectly cooked. I asked for 5 out of 10 spicy and I’m pretty adventurous and it was still WOW. The heat builds slowly then pow! Next time I’ll get 4. Will come back for this and delicious Iced Tea. My friend enjoyed the spring rolls. Owner/Operator works alone so expect to wait but food was worth it.

I absolutely love the authentic food Young makes here! My favorite is Pad Thai with 3 eggs Spice #3! Its absolutely delicious! And she makes ALL her own sauces! The spring roll sauce and Pad Thai sauce is the best sauce anywhere!
