We recently celebrated my father’s 89th birthday at the White Elephant Thai Cuisine in Huntingdon Valley, PA. As soon as we stepped through the doors, it was like entering a different world. The vibrant colors and aromas of fresh spices filled the restaurant with an aura of magic and delight! We were greeted warmly by our friendly server who took us to our table and shared all the specials they had on offer that night.

The mushroom soup is awesome! Two of us ordered the sesame Ahi tuna, seared to perfection. One of us ordered the Massaman curry beef which was very good. The sweet surrender salmon dish was very well prepared and enjoyed. Now, As for the chicken Pad Thai… Swing and a big miss! Unfortunate. On the other hand the atmosphere and service are outstanding! The owner is attentive, caring and friendly. Overall I would and will highly recommend the White Elephant!

This was my first time ordering from this restaurant. I didn’t know what to get everything I read sounded delicious. However, I got the Panang Curry GF. It was delicious. Oh my God they made it with a lot of love. My son ordered as well and he said the same thing. This is now our favorite place to eat from. I can’t wait to go in and sit. If anyone is skeptical.of eating here trust me you won’t be disappointed. I couldn’t rate for the atmosphere because I didn’t go in. Nevertheless, the food was with quick service our order came within the hour. We didn’t wait long at all. It might have been in 45 mins the food came hot not lukewarm. I definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone. Because it’s gluten free that’s the bonus. Please don’t let that be a deterrent to you. Order, then you will see for yourself. If I could rate it. It would be a 10/10 amazing food with love.

It was our second time there because we loved the food the first time. However, it was a huge disappointment for us, we ordered pad Thai. waiter asked us spicy level, and gave us an option from 1-10, we said 4, hoping it would be a mild spicy level. The food came out extremely spicy that the spicy level overpowered the food it self, we were very confused and asked the owner, and the owner confirmed it was the highest spicy level you could get, we were hoping they would offer to exchange our dish but nope. Sadly, this was our second time and last time here.
