A great little place with breakfast and lunch. It is chef owned (I believe) so the dishes tend to be a bit creative and unique. The menu does have some Southwestern flare. We found the food to be delicious.

Nice vegan breakfast bowl. THISclose to being an expensive place, especially for a college town.

Food was decent. Mixed berry quinoa bowl was okay. A little sloppy and mostly tasty. The nitro coffee was decent. The sandwich my girlfriend got looked good and she liked it. We greatly appreciate the gluten free bread. Staff was friendly and the cafe itself was welcoming and clean.

Breakfasts the last three weekends were fantastic. Whole family loves it. We’ll be back… repeatedly…probably next weekend for breakfast!

Had breakfast on a quiet Sunday morning. The bacon and eggs were excellent. Very good prices. It’s not unusual for breakfast places to screw up the coffee. Not Whetstone. Appreciate their attention to detail. An excellent addition to downtown Selinsgrove.

Food is excellent. They serve breakfast all day. There are quite a few original dishes on the menu. Omelets were large. Breakfast burrito was very good but the outside is well done instead of soft. Cinnaberry quinoa was delicious. You order at the counter and pay then. They’ll bring your meal over to you and clear the table later. A cup of coffee is $2.50; unlimited is $4.00.

As someone with a lot of allergies, I don’t usually find restaurants where I have options (especially outside of major cities) — but at Whetstone I eat well. Chef Geoff is thoughtful about the ingredients he uses and keeps his food true to flavor. I got the quinoa hummus bowl with sweet potatoes and my bf got a sausage omelette. Gluten free and vegan dishes are labeled on the menu, but if you’re an omnivore they have meat dishes as well. A must-visit if you live in the area.
