Today was second and last time I will be eating at the Wheel with my daughter. We started with the brussels sprouts and the crabby fries which both had great portion size. The fries were cold but had good flavor. The meals took a long time to come out as we were the only table in the place. My daughters grilled cheese was over done and very dry. The KETO grilled cheese I had was supposed to have grilled chicken on it but it didn’t have it. I asked the waitress for a side of the grilled chicken. The chicken seemed to be boiled and it smelled weird. I wouldn’t have fed the chicken to my dog. In my opinion the meal was overpriced for what we received and we will not be back.

“Wheel” as in cheese wheel. If you love cheese you would be hard pressed to find a better place. Build your own grilled cheese sandwich with lots of different cheese to choose from. Want more than just cheese add a protein. Bacon, and a quarter pound burger on a grilled cheese with pickles and french fries stuck in there. That is one of the regular things on the menu. Like macaroni and cheese, have it with crab meat. I only review the best. If this place was anything but great I would not be saying a word about it.

What a fantastic new addition to this town! Especially since all there is in this area is pizza, pizza, more pizza, and oh, the occasional generic ‘Chinese’ food restaurant that never seems to last long. Wheel is an excellent example of a ‘bigger city’ vibe with a make-your-own sandwich menu in which you choose the bread, cheese, fixings, etc. The staff has always been courteous and attentive, and the decor is nice too. I’m thrilled Wheel chose this coal-dust colored town to add some color to and I hope they thrive here.

Was the first time I ordered from there. Very disappointed and I mean very disappointed. I ordered the Philly Dilly and if you can see in the pics there is very little meat and only a few onions. There is no meat in the back of the sandwich on both sides. This was a 13.50 sandwich with soup. The other pic is a Fajita Wrap same thing nothing on the back end everything up front and also this was 9.50 ended up spending over 50$ and won’t get my business again. We moved here a year ago and been wanting to eat there for quite awhile. People work hard for there money and would like something in return. After eating the Philly Dilly it was not as advertised. There was less meat than I thought and very few onions. The most disappointing thing was that the bread was saturated with butter and when I squeezed the bread it dripped off. The soup was just ok and no saltines were offered not a deal breaker but would of been nice. Last the coleslaw was saturated with mayo the taste was also just ok. Overall I will be spending my hard earned somewhere else for take out food maybe the cook was having a bad day not sure but overall a flop… Also the portion served for the Crabby Mac was awful. 9 dollars for a 1// pound container that was not full.

Went here for Father’s Day and I was extremely disappointed. The waitress was very nice. The place looks good enough but the food was just terrible. We were literally the only ones in there for a while and the food took a very long time. I spent $11 on a grilled cheese to include fried chicken and there was so little meat. If you total it up it was probably about two chicken nuggets worth. I chose sautéed onions as one of my toppings and there might’ve been a total of four slivers of onion on the entire grilled cheese. There was so little filling when we left there I had to get something else to eat cause it was not satisfying whatsoever. You would think a grilled cheese place would really load on the cheese and that wasn’t the case I would caution anyone not to go here if you’re actually hungry, I see many other posts that say there’s a little meat in the sandwiches as well I guess they haven’t learned.

Always love the wheel. I remember my first visit in Pottsville. The Tamaqua place is even better. The food is amazing. Huge portions. What a great idea. Crystal was our server and she was on top of everything and wasn’t overbearing. I made a fantastic puppy coloring fort daughter hahaha!!! GOD BLESS grilled cheeses.
