Tasty! I got the braised beef noodle soup (红烧牛肉面) which was very satisfying and came out as a pretty large portion. I would’ve liked a bit more greens, but they gave a good amount of tender stewed beef, so I can’t complain. Chicken in chili oil (口水鸡) is fine, not very special, but not bad either. I would probably try a different appetizer next time I come. Reasonably priced for the portion. Will visit again!

I had high expectations based on the reviews, but I was pretty dissatisfied :/ I had the beef noodle soup and the chicken with rice. The noodles themselves were fresh and the beef was tender, but the broth was so plain. The only good thing about it was that it was salty and warm. It’s the kind of dish that’s only good if you’re STARVING. 4/10

Delicious and fairly priced authentic food. I got the braised chicken and it was delicious. Well marinated and fell of the bone. It came with rice and a side of veggies(Cabbage).

Saw the article about this place at The Daily Tarheel today and I immediately had to go and try it because I love noodles. I’m glad did because it was delicious! I ordered the minced beef chillies noodle and it was delicious! Noodle was pleasantly chewy and the minced beef was so flavorful. It is indeed spicy though so be mindful of that (the chillies were put on the side of the noodle when served so if you think you can’t handle the spiciness, you can scoop some of it out). If there’s anything amiss, I feel that the noodle is a little bit dry so it was a bit hard to mix it all up at the beginning, but it was not a major concern. Portion is pretty big and reasonable for the price. Additionally, I also ordered scallion pancakes and it’s so pleasantly thin and crisp and yummy. I will definitely come again to try their noodle soup and the dessert option!

Super overpriced. The noodles are not freshly made. You can tell from the taste that they use packaged noodles. I know even some Italian restaurants serve you Barilla, but they price the food properly at least. Proteins like fish are also in tiny portions. Ordered sauerkraut fish noodles last time and only got two tiny pieces of fish for $16??? When there’s no competition, there’s no good food. More Chinese restaurants should open in Chapel Hill.

Fantastic, authentic Chinese place that came and replaced Shanghai dumpling. Overall, nice, clean, fast service. The server helped us navigate the menu. Ordered a bunch of apps and a noodle dish. The Shrimp app, pumpkin cake, and the Shuman were great.

I love the pork belly and noodle soup here. Throw in a couple of spoonfuls of the hot pepper oil at the table.
