Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.
Circa-1950 fast-food chain for counter-serve burgers, some stacked with multiple patties. Based on 3 reviews, the restaurant has received a rating of 4.1 stars. Price $

Spent forever in the drive through just to get this as one of my three chicken strips. It’s inedibly dry too, the other ones were pretty dry but this was like jerky.

I usually defend whataburger vs any other burger spot, but they are just slacking now. They don’t serve fries or onion rings with meal anymore throughout the night. I been going for a month straight at least twice a week hoping too get some food. I work nights , so I’ll go between midnight and 4am. Every single time they use the excuse they are cleaning the fryer, which is not the case because even other co workers get the same excuse no matter what time. No milkshakes either. There’s not much food spots open late, sadly this location don’t seem to care for customers. Used to be a line all the way to the street. Not anymore, and you can guess why.

Arrived shortly before 11p walked in dining room no one greeted us right away. Line employee got manager whom refused us service and without provocation called armed security guard to escort us out. We would give them zero stars for poor customer service. Also, parking lot covered in broken glass.

Never tried it before, but heard good things about it. The food was good, but not great. However, I did love the Chicken Sandwich! It was fantastic!

Food is excellent, make you feel like you are in Texas. Service is good and fast, meals are as described and the restaurant atmosphere is clean. Drive thru is always full so be sure to have some spare time to wait.

Had a great experience. We did get parked for fresh chicken. We didn’t mind. Everything was hot and tasty. Plus, they added a huge reusable bag with our order in it.

Is down town town Albuquerque so a bit sketchy outside, if you get past the outside, the lady on front during 4th Jul was amazing. Food was better than “MikeD” and other big chain options. We had a great lunch here.

Stopped here on the way to Vegas. Booked room around the corner for the night. This was the closest place to eat. Food was good and warm. That’s all you really can ask for.
