It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

Came here after a long night at work (1am) for a salad and a small milkshake, I was told it would be 7 mins for the salad I agreed to wait since there was 3 cars in front of me . The gentleman at the intercom was monotoned and rushed to take my order , when I get to pay it comes out to 15 I come home and I notice there was hash browns which I figured it was a courtesy for the7 min wait . I check the grill tickets to find out he modified it and added hash browns which I never ordered . After a late night at work having to pay for things I didn’t order due to the lack of somebody wanting to be at work is disappointing.

People park in curbside pickup to go dine in, drive thru lines always busy, slow dine in service, food is hit or miss. I’ve received the wrong order several times and today everything on my order was correct EXCEPT my apple pie was so old or burnt it was inedible, I had to spit it out and throw it away.

I have recently returned to El Paso and made sure that I would stop by and grab me a meal. Nothing has changed except the menu, still have a quality and very good Burger for a great price. Love this place!

Sometimes they don’t do a good job of telling customers of what they can’t offer until AFTER it’s paid for. For example , I paid for large fries but when I got up to the counter drive thru I was given tater tots. I asked what the deal was and they were like ” oh my bad our fryer won’t work.” I responded “well, why didn’t you say that when I ordered and paid for large fries? And please at least substitute it for something else before I ask for my money back.”

I went in to place an order. After 15 minutes of waiting and having 5 other customers who placed their orders after I did get theirs I had to ask for mine. The manager didn’t even have anything to say to me. I live about 5 minutes away when I got home my food was cold. I called to speak to the manager was asked to hold after 10 minutes noone came to the phone. You would think after I spent over $45.00 on food it would be a better experience. Don’t know if or when I’ll be back at least to this location.

They took out my review a long time ago, fortunately I got my pictures on my phone. This Whataburger, super slow, the ladies on here, very lazy, didn’t want to work here. They close the restaurant earlier and put everyone in the drive thru, very patetic. If they don’t want to work, hire people that want to work.

Restaurant was clean, but staff acted like no one was in lobby until they were done with mobile orders. There were 4 people waiting to order. I also pre ordered and still had to wait an extra 15 mins for a taquito.
