Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

I only come here when I can’t get into Sandys. Same great food just don’t expect much. Its on a busy street. You will be asked if you can spot some change. Unhoused folks might come in to refill their drinks. They paid for the cup; don’t hate too bad. Staff is paid by the hour and they act like it not much sense of urgency. Might have to wait a bit, but your food will be hot. At least in my experience. Not my fav and also no deal breakers here.

With only two cars in front of me in the drive thru, it was a 30 + min wait – yes over 30 mins; note- I was blocked in from front and rear as soon as I placed my order.

I recently visited Whataburger restaurant and I have to say, I was thoroughly impressed with my experience. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by friendly and attentive staff who were eager to help me with my order. The restaurant was clean and well-maintained, which made me feel comfortable and at ease while I dined.

I loved the burger and fries. Tried the limited time Dr. Pepper shake, and it was pretty darn good. My burger was missing catsup, but I certainly could have asked for some, so it’s my own fault. Wish we had Whataburger in the midwest.

Stop there yesterday with my children and got something to eat. We went inside and eat. Should have leave when we need a code to get into the bathroom that was a red flag. Whenever I go to Whataburger I always order the sweet and spicy and it always comes out freshly made. This one was nasty it tastes like was under a the warmer. When we left Whataburger there was no one in the restaurant but employees. I was parked in the handicap spot and we sat there for about 5 minutes getting everything together before we left. On our way back to Fort Cavazos my son said he left his Nintendo switch at the restaurant. I immediately called the restaurant and inquired about the switch. The manager that answered the phone said he remembered me being there but no one turned it in. He asked the crew in the back they said they haven’t seen it laughing. Again when we left the restaurant there was no one in there we sat outside in the vehicle for about 5 minutes in the front no one went into the restaurant.

The manager while we were there on 09/25/22 at 10:30pm was EXTREMELY RUDE. Hardly any sauce on the sandwich and the manager has an attitude when you ask for ketchup… like girl it is ketchup. They taking that out of your paycheck or something? No need to be so dang rude!

Food was horrible, gravy was basically dish water. The crew on the overnight shift make fun of their customers stand around in groups and laugh and mock their customers. No wonder you guys had every single one of your store windows busted out about two weeks ago… But hey when your dealing with an uneducated group of people this is to sort of be expected

Terrible experience with this location . Aside from waiting almost an hour for our food, the food was served cold, the fries were cold and not salted, the tenders were hard like a brick. There was also no full sized beverage containers and we were served cans!! The manager was completely rude and disrespectful. Subpar quality and service. Management needs a complete rehaul.

I ordered a combo meal with large fries. The fries were old and soggy. I asked for new fries, and instead they brought me out the same fries after putting them in the fryer one more time. They were no longer soggy, but now they tasted old and burnt. I will not be returning to this location.
