Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

Island Man
Very courteous gentleman at register taking orders.

It’s equally impressive as it is astounding, with how many different ways this location has been able to screw up a simple order. So many times I’ve told myself, “last visit was just a fluke, give them another chance” for it to happen all over again. No matter the time of day or night, inside or take-out, steer clear of this place. It is a complete waste of time and money. I’ve started driving several extra miles just to get a correct meal. The quality control is that atrocious.

So I’m changing my 4 star into a 2 star at the moment for the 1st time I decided I was going to use the drive-through I always ask. Ed for my fries extra crispy…. And my hamburger extra well done…. And I come to the drive through and I get my sandwich not correct…. And it was slappally put together….. I hate leaving negative reviews But it typically happens to be the weekend crew when this happens…..

Service was excellent, food was good. I enjoy WB on occasion but not regularly. The fries were absurdly salty this last experience, but they gladly provided another fry, which was far more enjoyable! Grateful for the customer service

I was just here this evening (9/2) going through the drive thru. There was another car so I went into the outer lane and the gentlemen on the speaker said one moment. After the car in the other lane pulled away, a car pulled up after I did and took their order first. I was there for about 8 minutes with 3 other cars pulling up in the inside lane and getting instant service.

Good place to stop in for a burger. I got it the way I wanted it. Onion free. My only complaint is that there was no shade for our poor puppy dogs that were stuck in that car of ours. Thankfully we didn’t have a long wait to get our food.

It’s kept to cold. While that’s nice in the summer you food gets cold before you eat it.

They give you what they want not what you order. An then you call to tell them. An the quote black manager said her employee said she or he made it correct. To return back was not something to do. Driving an 18 wheeler loaded. Manager said will return your money. Then change her mind to you are a lieing customer. At this point next time I will record everything including when ordering an there mistakes an post them everywhere possible so people can see there attitudes an how they treat customer…

First time @ Whataburger, good food and very clean with good service

Breakfast as always was fantastic. My only issue is, the sign hanging outside of building is situated right in front of the handicapped parking spaces, and all handicapped people have to walk around the strings holding this sign in place. “See Pictures” Not all handicapped people can’t bend down low enough so one could go directly from the vechile straight towards the front door without having to walk around the back of their car to get around the strings holding this sign. As always Thank You for reading this review and please give me a Thumbs Up and follow me on Google
