Whataburger Menu – Tyler, TX

Type : Restaurant

Location : Tyler, TX

Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

Circa-1950 fast-food chain for counter-serve burgers, some stacked with multiple patties. Based on 568 reviews, the restaurant has received a rating of 4.2 stars. Price $

Kids 2 piece chicken strip meal is advertised as $6.53 plus tax but they charge you $7.38 plus tax at the window. When I asked for a receipt as my bill seemed high she said it’s because of tax. I explained to her that the tax added was in addition to the $7.38. Then she said that she keeps telling them “to change the sign”. I realize it’s less than a dollar difference before tax but they do that on multiple items so it adds up. I’ve noticed this before and finally said something. Whether they change the sign I suppose is up to them.

The food was fresh and prepared correctly. Fries were great like always. There is just something about the burgers. I believe it is the meat being used. It had zero taste no matter what condiments used, salt and pepper just protein taste. All Whataburgers share this.

Had a great lunch with friends. All the employees were friendly and helpful. Our food was delivered to us quickly and was hot and made correctly to order. The unsweet tea was freshly brewed and tasted great.

Waited 30 minutes after ordering food only to be told when I got to the window that a computer had crashed. Was told if I did not have cash I couldn’t get my food even though they had already made it and it was sitting on the counter. Frequent customer and I will not be returning

Fries hot, but burger (meat and bun) were cold. Order taker at the drive thru was rude (hurried, abrupt, unfriendly).

A great location right by Wal-mart so you can get all your needs fulfilled in one run! The interior lobby is big, spacious, and clean. I love the material they used for the tables and seats it definitely adds some flair to the lobby. An upscale look if you would. I was greeted immediately when I walked in and helped promptly despite them being busy. Always a plus! Also, they have condiments at the table so that was something I was happy about. I know some don’t and they will bring the tray to each table and offer them to you. This way I feel no shame in wanting to use 3 packets of ketchup with my fries…lol! The restrooms are very, very clean and spotless so that was wonderful as well about this location. That really makes or breaks a place in my eyes and they passed all my pet peeves I look for in a food joint. I would highly reccommend this location to anyone wanting a 5 Star experience from Whataburger. Also if you’ve never had Whataburger you don’t know what you’re missing out on!! Get with it the best burgers in the business!!

The store was amazingly clean. The Lady who took our order was really friendly and knew her job and how to do it. We had an order for 4 people plus a chocolate shake. It was made and brought out within a very reasonable time frame. I know the prices everywhere have gone up, so when you order something, you deserve for it to be made correctly. This time it was made perfect. My DBL-DBL had fresh vegetables and the meat was juicy and tender. Just the right amount of mayo. The fries weren’t burnt or over salted. This is a major thing of mine. I like to taste the fried potatoes not the salt. So it was worth what the $$.

Got a 3 piece chicken strip and it cost 12 dollars. That is absolutely insane. Also the chicken strips are more like bites. I will no longer be spending any money here. Absolutely terrible.
