It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. Went to their drive thru last week and I drove off after they gave me a bag (which I later found out contained only the drinks and no food). I contacted their customer service and their manager, Kim, immediately reached out to remake the entire almost $50 order. I presented the receipt today and Kayla, who was kind and polite, and her manager took care of the rest and remade the entire order. Glad for such great customer service, even though the fault was mine for leaving early. And the best part was that the food was awesome. Thank you! You’ve made a customer for life.

Every night during Saturdays and sundays when I mean NO MUSTARD IS NO MUSTARD!! It’s the 4th time I have to scrap the mustard off the burger so I can add the ketchup myself, and I’m very disappointed and very angry when they don’t get my order right.

15 minute Wait time wasn’t bad in the drive thru, BUT if you are going to charge almost $3 for fries, then at least FILL up the box with HOT ones please! I thought for sure I’d at least have some bag fries, but there wasn’t even a crumb of one in there. These were barely warm and had so much salt on them I couldn’t finish them. Please make sure you mix up the old fries with the new fries you dump on top, so you don’t wind up with barely a scoop of old fries.

If I could I would give this Whataburger 10 stars. The manager provided me with exceptional customer service. Took out time to show me how to use the Whataburger App while in the restaurant. I order the same thing at every Whataburger, the sweet & spicy burger. My food was hot, fresh, & delicious. I would recommend this Whataburger it’s the best Whataburger in Texas.

this is the new one that was built right down the street from the old one. It is in front of UT health center and you are very close to the main post office on Martin Luther King boulevard and you have a few pawn shops a Subway and a McDonald’s. You can ride the blue line Transit of Tyler and if all else fails you can go to Caldwell zoo there is a lot of great opportunity in this area and it is growing!
