Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

Order fries no salt. Pretty sure they tried to wash the salt off in the fryer. That or they over cooked them, then dumped in the bin where they salt the fries, before boxing.

I have always been treated very kindly when Chris the manager and Samantha are there!!! My order is hot, correct and on time!! I will not go unless they are there!! Always with a smile and very very nice They care about what you want and make sure it’s fresh and edible! The other staff are just THERE! They don’t care! Chris and Samantha go above and beyond!

I’m honestly kinda sad about this one. The last two times I’ve been to the whataburger, the wait was long but the food was worth it. Today, the wait was long (understandably considering the holiday) but the food was bad. Like bad, bad. The fries were cold and soggy with a bad oil taste and my box listed the two sauces asked for (which I was charged an extra $1 for, too) and only had one sauce in there… and the sauce looked like this. The chicken was super dry (probably the lack of sauce) and cold, too.

I just have to say awesome job whataburger! Today is my third day with no power in East Texas. I am exhausted doing laundry at the laundry mat and see on my app a free patty melt combo cause I haven’t been there in a while. What a wonderful surprise for someone that just lost all the food in her fridge. I don’t do carbs so I ordered my patty melt with no bun. I ordered no onions or sauce and added lettuce tomato and pickles. It was perfect. Came with a knife and fork.I was in and out of there in less than 90 seconds. Kudo’s Whataburger White Oak! You made my day 100% better.

I have an issue every time I come here, seriously!! They make things wrong or take 10+ minutes almost every time. This time I ordered a burger and tenders.. now I should’ve checked it sure, but my bladder was about to burst so I drove the 20 minutes back to my home quickly! Imagine my disappointment to get out of the bathroom, ready for lunch, to see this I’ll drive all the way out to the Longview whataburgers before coming back here.

This is quite possibly the worst whataburger in Texas. This was second try because every place can have a bad day, but don’t go here if at all possible. Online ordering is completely pointless. You’ll spend an extra 20 minutes past your time you’re supposed to be there, and then you’ll be brought your food, which is cold as ice because it’s been sitting there. Nothing wrong with it. Just sitting there, getting cold. The fries were cold and mushy. The burger bun was watery from the over abundance of ketchup that had soaked in from sitting there. The chicken was a brick. 15 bucks people. Go elsewhere.

Fries are soggy within seconds. Meat is a bit above gas station quality. To me, Whataburger is only acceptable when in a rush or after a trip to the bar.

The absolute worst. Cold gravy. Didn’t get my hashbrowns. Waited 5 minutes to order and was then served cold breakfast. Go anywhere but here.

After waiting in line for what seemed like eternity, roughly 30 minutes. We finally received our order. The fries were cold and mushy. The burger was cold. The only thing in the bag that was warm was the spicy chicken sandwich. After spending $20 plus fuel. I won’t ever go there again.

Just about every time we order something online when the food is picked up the fries are old and cold, they forget something on the order and we have to go back and get it. Not once have they apologized for items being left out of the pick up order. Just cuz it’s an online order doesn’t mean you have to give substandard food and leave things off the order
