Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

Deeply disappointed. All my food (fish sandwich and chicken sandwich) INEDIBLE. Silly me. There was a Chic Fil A next door and I regret not wanting to wait in line. My daughter had the burger and she ate it. The fries weren’t great but she also ate them. So so sad because we do not have a Whataburger at home and we get excited when we travel and find one. My advice for this location – stay away if you’re hungry. Or don’t want to waste money. It should be against the law for them to sell fish (or chicken).

Well, I finally got to eat at the Whataburger located on Nall. I had it before, years ago when I lived in Texas and still taste the same. It’s almost like a sonic burger if you never had it before. Since this location is new, the building was very clean and it was no line or long waiting at all. I went at 9:30 pm so that could of help with the no waiting. A large group customers did arrive shortly after we received our food. Can’t complain, it was ok and the expected cost was on par with all the other fast food places.

Placed an online order for a double cheeseburger. I get back home and open it up and there is no freaking meat on it. It is an empty bun with cheese and onions. I have absolutely no idea how you can leave the meat out of a burger. Called the store and was told I can come back for a replacement. It is nearly a 45 minute round trip from where I live. Went out of the way to try this place and it was a massive failure. Having worked in restaurant kitchens in my younger days, I also do not trust replacement food at all.

Reviewing while still sitting at this location.

This is a great location for Leawood but I think Whataburger mania in KC has definitely died down. There was nobody here when I tried it out (albeit around 4:00). Burger, fries, and onion rings were delicious.

We ate lunch here and was impressed with how clean the place was. The food was fresh and hot. I still can’t get used to paying over $30 for two people to eat a burger and fries. The service was great, and the food came out quickly. This is the best Whataburger we have visited.

I was stoked to eat at Whataburger – honestly what a disappointment. Waiting in the drive thru for 8 minutes with only two cars in front of me. Burger was flavorless and the shake was decent. Should’ve just gone to sonic
