Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

First impression – I’m not impressed with the security guard chasing, literally chasing me away from the parking lot upon arrival. Apparently you can only use the drive thru and there are no signs or directions indicating… just Grumpy the Guard that will chase those kids off his lawn!!!

Absolutely tasty. The 5 inch original double patty Whataburger is juicy and cooked to perfection, and the piping hot crispy fries with the spicy jalapeno ketchup are top notch. The friendly service at this location in Arlington, TN was pretty quick and efficient for as busy as the drive through was. Goodbye McDonald’s and Burger King; Whataburger is now my go-to burger joint. I can’t wait until their three new locations finally open up here in Clarksville, TN.

After seeing so many poor reviews I’ll be honest in saying my expectations were low. However, upon finally visiting in person I couldn’t have been more pleasantly surprised. The wait was short and the man working the drive-thru, Sidney, could not have been better. He took the time to answer my questions, didn’t seem rushed, and was profusely apologetic about the shake machine being down for cleaning. As for the food, it was as expected and the fries were nice and hot. Overall a fantastic experience and so happy to have Whataburger here in Arlington!

Ordered the pancake breakfast. Unfortunately, there was no syrup. I called the restaurant they hung up the phone when I attempted to let them know about the missing item. I called back again but no one answered. When you’re the only person in the drive thru and it takes 15 minutes to get your food please ensure the order is correct.

Saturday morning, today. Drive thru. Arrived at 958am. 5th car in line. 22 minutes later I got my bacon biscuit. Unreal. Several people behind us were getting out of their car, frustrated, etc. Never going here again. Biscuit was store bought. Makes McDonalds look like Ruths Chris.

Went for lunch. Sat in long line. Finally ordered from young man with tablet. I was discouraged from using cash, card was preferred. I used my debit card and was charged twice for my meal. I was told I would be refunded the cost of one meal but it would take 3 days or more to show up in my account. I ordered a chicken sandwich meal with drink and cinnamon bun. The chicken patty was very thin and had little flavor. I took a few bites and threw it away. I never got the fries that were supposed to come with the meal. It took so long to get the food, I wasn’t going back for the fries. The ice was melted in the drink. The cinnamon bun was ok but a little doughy. Definitely not up to the Whataburger reputation and I will not be returning. Thanks anyway.

They say Dine-In available, but that’s questionable.. You have to order online, then after you pickup your food you can dine in.
