Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.
Circa-1950 fast-food chain for counter-serve burgers, some stacked with multiple patties. Based on 691 reviews, the restaurant has received a rating of 3.7 stars. Price $

One of Gallatin’s newer fast food restaurants. The order takes a little longer than expected, but the order is made fresh.

Literally sat in the drive thru trapped for over 30 min. They said they lost my ticket but never came out to let me know anything was going down and they brought me a free brownie. I’m not a toddler it’s not ok cause u give me sweets. The manager should have come out and apologized and gave my money back. Over 30 min is dumb

All I can say is the banana milkshake is fire I will definitely be missing that once it’s time has ended. I will say their burgers are pretty good, fries are pretty good, I’ve tried the patty melt and it’s pretty dang good. Their chicken strips are good. Overall for a fast food restaurant they are good for what you’re paying for, I definitely recommend going inside at night or ordering online for faster service. Most of the time fast food joints have skeleton crews, so to make it easier on them just give them patience and grace.

My first time there. I got a cheese burger and fries. Really good (usually I avoid fast food burgers) but I WILL be going back. I want to try the avocado burger next time. The staff was super impressive. They were kind and courteous. I cannot say how happy I was with that service. It was better than any other place I have been.

Sat in drive thru for 30 minutes plus. Unbelievable. EDIT: Just got back to my hotel, and apparently this is what they call a 3 piece chicken. Don’t go here.

Twice my husband and I tried ordering through the drive thru and the wait time has been quite extensive- there was no more than 2-3 cars ahead of us. We’ve gone once around 5/6pm & again between 8/9pm so maybe they’re just not properly staffed at those times?

Hamburger was great with all the toppings. Came on grand opening and staff was very friendly. They gave out Whataburger swag merchandise while waiting in line . I also got a pair of Whataburger sunglasses . They have a limited menu right now due to just opening this new location. They have great apple pies which I hope they will have my next visit .

The food was all hot and fresh and tasty. Dining room was filthy and the floor was very slick like they used the greasy kitchen mop out there. Unsweet tea tasted spoiled. Restroom out of toilet paper.

We were disappointed after high expectation at our first visit today. We read it’s trying to be like In & Out burger, Five Guys and Shake Shack. But it was not. It tasted like typical fast food burgers like McDonalds, Wendy’s of the world. It wasn’t crowded. But we still waited for 20 minutes for our burgers. We won’t eat there again.

We have been here a few times now, and we usually just dine in because the line is ALWAYS long lol but if you dine in at night prepare to use the kiosk because nobody will be checking you out! Which isn’t good if an older person was to come in and doesn’t know how to use the kiosk. That’s the only thing I disliked about this location other than that the food was fresh!! Everything was delicious!! My kids loved it and loved their milkshakes!
