Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

The whata BLT was really really good, however, my S/O called me when he got to Whataburger, he was second in line and no cars at the window, he was behind that care and couldn’t get out of line, when the car in front of him finally drove off after about 30 minutes, and my S/O got to the speaker, he said something and the guy inside said he’d be right with him that they were getting caught up. I don’t know with what because their was no one inside and no one in line. After another few minutes he orders and gets to the window, we had three meals, all pretty simple, from the time my S/O called me until the time he got the food, it was 58 minutes.

Onion rings were great ! Fries were hot. Banana milkshake was great if you like banana flavored things. Burgers were good size and my family enjoyed the lettuce, tomato, and onion that comes on the burgers. Restaurant was busy at lunch time. Probably could improve efficiency and speed, but a little wait was not too bad.

Certainly not the place it used to be. No one acknowledged us at the front counter, there were about 10 people in the lobby seated but not eating, not sure if they had ordered or not so I took out my cell and called the restaurant and they answered immediately to which I asked could we get some service at the counter and they said someone will be with you shortly. That was a lie!!! I literally had to say excuse me ma’am why is no one acknowledging our presence and no one is taking orders? a black female said it would be 20 minutes before we would be served and I asked couldn’t someone have acknowledged us and said that sooner? (No one from behind the counter would make eye contact with us) She replied we are unstaffed and we will be with you soon. Maybe the lobby shouldn’t have been open if this is the level of service you’ll get. It’s just pathetic that she thought this was an acceptable way to run a business but no one in the place cared and that is the last time I will darken those doors and patronize this place. This sort of attitude and management style will close a business and the whole staff followed her lead!!! Someone from higher up needs to evaluate the staff and know this is not the right demographics for the customer you serve. As long as they collect a check they do not care about the level of service they provide. 5 guys has a far better burger anyway, they’re right next door and their service is 5 star.

Food was ok but it took forever to get it. I guess because it’s made fresh.

We always look forward to coming to Whataburger when in town. Service was extremely slow. 20 minutes in the drive through. My husband and I both ordered a number 1. Both hamburgers were over done. He asked for no vegetables. I asked for vegetables but light on the onions and mustard. That was not the case. We ate half of our sandwiches and threw them away. We’ve been coming to this area (Alabama/Florida) for 16 years and never had food this poorly made. Will not be visiting this location again. Should have went to Whataburger in Daphne. Daphne location is better.

Our first time eating Whataburger! We’re from Kentucky and we don’t have them there, hint… hint! Food was as delicious as I expected. Meat was delicious and veggies seemed super fresh. We actually drove 16 miles to this (the closest) location to try when we realized Whataburger was in the area. Thanks for the meal guys

Placed mobile order 67198990 at 7:21pm. Arrived at 7:35pm. No one came to vehicle. Went inside restaurant. Saw my name on the order screen hi-lighted in red with the timer at almost 30 minutes marked as “Arrived” and “Parking spot #1” indicated. Saw the mobile order sitting on the counter. Saw restaurant associates look several times at the receipt taped to the bag and I could overhear them taking about how it’s been close to 30 minutes.

Good food slow drive through. Update went back another time. I ended up leaving the drive through. Ridiculous wait time for a breakfast meal.
