Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

Pretty average Whattaburger, always busy, but never to the point where it’s a problem. Staff is usually able to maintain a line both in the store and in the drive through. The max wait I’ve ever had was about ten minutes.

I was thrilled to find this Whataburger while traveling through the area. It’s been 20 something years since I’ve seen one and I wasn’t disappointed here! Sweet and spicy bacon burger, onion rings, and the Dr Pepper milkshake which was AMAZING!!! Thanks Whataburger, for keeping the memories alive!

I was in town this past Friday night for a concert. On my way to the show, I passed by this place & knew where I’d be eating later that night. It was about 11:30 PM when I stopped to eat. As expected, the place was extremely busy because most stuff is closed by then. The back of the drive-thru line reached the road at the entrance. I got the last parking spot available.

Ordered a #5 waited 20 minutes in the drive-through only to get cold fries and a gross bacon cheeseburger for $11. I couldn’t take more than 1 bite, it was hours old… They tried to pass off hours old food as just cooked. I’m never going to this place ever again. Gross. If you want fresh food, go to Publix.
