What Da Chick truly excels in creating delicious yet simple chicken dishes. On m recent visit, I tried the combo featuring their crispy chicken and ‘What da chick’. The crispy chicken was moist and well-seasoned, encased in a satisfyingly crunchy exterior.

Chicken portion was small for the price I paid ($18) and there was a lot of fat on the chicken strips (excluding the skin.) There was cilantro on the roasted chicken even though my order request specifically stated no cilantro. (Cilantro tastes like soap to me so it makes the food taste bitter.) The poached chicken had no flavor. I thought they would season the water they boil it in to add flavor. The sauce the meal came with was very good though so I guess they don’t season the chicken because of the sauce. Additionally, my Thai tea came half full. Would not order from here again.

Best fried chicken and rice in Boston! Came here twice and you have to try the What Da Chick Sauce, it is perfect with all kinds of spices. The Thai tea and Thai Matcha tea are both amazing. Tried the Kanom Tuay(coconut milk pudding) and it’s not sweet at all!!! The services are great that they even give you small cup to pack the sauces separately! This is an authentic Thai restaurant, please come by if you live around Watertown or Boston!

Fast and reasonably priced Thai chicken joint. Taste is great – the chicken is well balanced by the fresh and funky sauces. The daikon soup is, I think, from chicken stock, adding to the depth of flavor. I highly recommend the Kanom Tuay for dessert – delicious pandan and coconut flavor well balanced in sugar and a hint of salt.

Their combo fried and baked chicken is delicious. Their sauces are well paired with the chicken. The portion is way bigger when I dine in compared to take out! This would be my to go takeout if I live closer! Highly recommended!

Got their spicy crispy chicken and rice. The flavor was good but, overall quality of the meat wasn’t the best. I asked for no cucumbers and they gave me cucumbers.

I don’t like poached chicken and chicken skin but here both were amazing. The crispy one was great as well. They even provide plastic utensils with the takeout meals. The Diakon soup was also very delicious. Give it a try!

Fresh, juicy, and delicious Thai style chicken with rice. The roasted chicken was tender with a sweet, smoky skin. The seasoned rice was rich and chewy, and paired great with the spicy sauce. I’ll try the crispy chicken next time I go!

Chicken was good and I gave 5 stars initially, but want to add an extra star for the waitress who accidentally spilled a bit of water and then graciously provided us with a cup of free Thai tea!
