Nothing fancy but a good little burger joint. Good service and toppings consist of lettuce, tomato, pickle and onion. Good size fry with the combo but there is an option to go bigger.The menu reminds me of an old small town cafe that always served good food with similar prices. Great value for what you get.

Growing up in the area What-A-Burger was always a treat. When the one in Colonial Heights closed we’d come to this location, and it’s exactly as I remember it. Food is great, the staff is extremely friendly. Good value for the money as well. Bologna burger and onion rings are hard to beat for lunch!

Had an opportunity to try this place for the first time last week and I was really impressed. The location was drive thru only so the line was backed up. The service was still pretty quick even with having to wait. The person working the window was really nice. The hamburger lived up to the what-a-burger name. I loved the taste and the burger was huge. I also got a corn dog and fries. The corn dog was really good as well but the fries was just ok. They was a little to bland for my taste. I look forward to going back this week and trying some other things in the menu.

It was as I remember it years ago. This is a throwback. Simple hamburgers and fries or onion rings with soda. But these burgers are not wimpy. They beat the big franchises easily. Will have to try hot dogs or shakes later. I can’t rate higher only because the building is not accepting counter service at this time, only drive-thru. Customer service was good.

You can only go through the drive-thru at this restaurant. I always order the same thing–a corndog. What-a-Burger makes the BEST corndogs. I have tried to find these corndogs in the grocery store but have not been successful. The breading is sweet yet savory and the dog is beefy. Get it with mustard and ketchup. You won’t be disappointed.
