Traditional diner tucked inside Westwood Pharmacy. The breakfast sandwiches are actually good, however, I also ordered pancakes to go and there wasn’t any syrup included. Took the time to go back and the service was so slow!

I’ve only lived in this area for two years and my bf and I recently decided to visit a new diner each weekend in RVA. This was our third. And so far our fave. I had an avocado omelet. He had eggs and Belgian waffle with strawberries. Simple. Delicious. Menu was a perfect breakfast selection. Coffee was nice but took a bit to get a second cup. Otherwise…we will be back. In fact. I’m considering making this my Monday morning regular spot to get my week started!!

It’s a throwback to the 50s, where day laborers rub elbows with people in scrubs from St Mary’s. It’s the kind of place where retirees bring their grandchildren for lunch. The grease is strong in this one, but you won’t be ashamed for having visited.

I grew up nearby , so it is somewhat nostalgic to eat here. The food is tasty and it has been crowded when I went., making it a bit loud for ladies chatting. I do enjoy eating there and looking around at the store for gifts.
