The food was varied and quality. It was around $10 a person for buffet and drink and there were about a dozen different proteins on the bar. The desserts were numerous, although one pie (coconut cream) had a freezer-burn taste to it; it can happen at any restaurant, so I’m not letting it factor in unless it continues. The wait staff was on point. I’ll be returning regularly.

Not a huge selection, looks so old! The food was REALLY good tho. Staff is all teens, had to flag someone down for a drink and request that she wash her hands because I saw her help fix the vacuum and then just start back putting coffee filters in the drawers. She did it tho and was very nice about it (I apologized for asking and she was sweet). The broccoli soup was the best I have ever had but the stuffing was tangy like it was spoiled. Definitely worth stopping here.

The food tasted great and could have been a 5 star review except for two major things. The baked fish was cold on the buffet. When you walk around the back side you can see the lights on for all of the other buffets sections except for the one that had the fish. From the time I got the fish from the buffet to my seat it was cold. Not possible it was at proper temp. I told the waitress and she said that she told the man in charge and they would take care of it. On my second trip back up there I saw the buffet runner filling up the baked fish pan and then racked to cold ones on top of the fresh ones instead of throwing them away. Needless to say no fish made it on my plate. Between this and the poor poor service I received from my waitress I was a little upset. She had enough time to talk to other employees from across the room and not enough time to check on us for refills. I will never step foot back there even if it was free.

If you ever went to Quincy’s in Toccoa you will feel the same here. Great food and great presentation. You can tell they strive for a good reputation. The owners are usually on site. (Must have been gone when the last reviewer was there)

The food is amazing. This is what I call real Country food. Very tasty and home made. Jessa our waitress was incredible, very courteous and polite, always checking on us to see to see if we needed anything. Defenetlty coming back for more.

crap food, if your a dog or wild animal starving this is the place, this food was the worst, pork chops probably cook from yesterday meat was brownish black, chicken was spoiled tasting, fish was brown colored and mush apart., not shore how this place is still on the map. do not eat here unless to like to pay $9 per person with water for crap food.

My husband and I came to Helen for our Anniversary and tried to figure out where we wanted to eat, we finally decided on Western Sizzling, and I was not impressed at all. Ordered a steak here for my birthday. Get home and take 2 bites out of it and a piece of metal goes all the way through my tongue. .several calls and finally speaking to the so called owner was told his insurance company would be contacting me. Here , 3 days later stI’ll haven’t heard. Seriously considering an attorney. This place should be shut down. Please be careful what you order here
