I’m 67 and a critical consumer. We have visited this Wendy’s many times over the last couple of years and it is the friendliest establishment of any sort that I’ve ever been to. Each person serving us does so with a smile and with kindness. I’ve had to have contact with at least 8 or 9 employees over at that time. And I don’t get how all of them could be that nice. On the way out the door, in my most recent contact, the guy actually said “have a good evening Rick.”

Great service! Great food! Many dirty tables but few customers. Soda machine looked like it hadn’t been wiped down all day. Female bathroom out of soap. Male bathroom out of towels. Toilet was dust and grimy. Looked like a bachelor pad. The building looks new and the staff were very nice. Our visit was on 7/27/23 around 8pm.

The service here has gone down hill. The staff is rude. Tonight, for example, I ordered an Ice tea with lemon. When I got to the window, she handed me the ice tea and AFTER it was in my hand she told me they were out of lemon and quickly shut the window. She didn’t offer me another choice or even give me a chance to ask for something else. This was at 10pm. The dining room was empty and there was no one else in the drivethrough. They weren’t busy. I’ve worked fast food before and I can understand hating your job but this was a little bit ridiculous. Perhaps she wasn’t trained properly? I don’t know. I would suggest stepping up your training at this location or at least have a team meeting about what good customer service means. Food was correct and still good quality for fast food so I rated 3 stars.

Trash cans in dining room were over full both times I visited. Tables were not clean. Strawberry frosty tasted artificial. Store was out of venela and chocolate flavors. Had to ask for chili to be heated up.

Whoever manages this should be ashamed. We ordered inside, as we had an oversized vehicle, and it took 20 minutes to get our food. While vehicles were being served. We were watching them stack lines fries up. So our fries were cold and mushy. Dirtiest seating area.

Brand spanking new building, great service, and amazing food. Every time I go to Wendy’s I order the pretzel pub burger and it never lets me down, the Gouda mixed with the beer cheese. What a masterpiece. The atmosphere came to a shock to me with the new building built, I feel like I’m going into Starbucks and ordering a burger with a frosty. Thanks Wendy’s!

After running errands on my lunch I went thru the drive thru. No complaints on the service however as I’m pulling out I grab a fry out of the bag and it wasn’t even remotely warm. My employment is less than 5 minutes away. The burger was warm, not hot. When you have to pay the money you do, for fast food, this is very disappointing. This was my first and most likely last visit to the Shelton Wendy’s.

I would kind of eat there during the kind of rush hour I mean they were busy but they were running the cars through quick and they weren’t parking too many cars I never know if they never really do that but today we are just some basic stuff couple Taco salads and Baconator french fries little did I know that that’s the side of it seems to take a long time or you have to have certain ingredients or if it’s pre-made they just didn’t have it can we waited a while holding up the line making people angry I’m sure but by the time they open the window and said please pull over there to the waiting parking thought to myself at least I told us you’re making any fries they’re taking a long time or something so we parked over there we waited not very long a couple minutes and a nice young lady came out she must have drew the shop the short stick because nobody wanted to come out and tell us that they didn’t have Bakery fries or they couldn’t do it or we’re going to take longer than normal so she said here’s your here’s the rest of your order but I have to tell you is we can’t do the Baconator fries today for you so is there something else you’d like instead and we’re going to throw in the chocolate Frosty for making you wait well the chocolate frosty was great just thinking about that I should order one instead not only did they bring out a chocolate frosty they brought out two chocolate frosties one for the driver and one for me that was great and the best part about the whole quirky thing is instead of the Baconator fries just ordered a regular large fry and caught that she ran in as fast as she could she ran really fast she was out of the door and back to our car in an unbelievably super super fast 30 seconds and in her hand was two chocolate frosties one for me one for my driver and would you believe it the Baconator fries were done piping hot beautiful and gorgeous plus plus somehow there was a large fry and they didn’t even have time to cook so I don’t know how they did that how wonderful that’s a way to take somebody who could be angry or in a hurry and make their day just that much better
