Food is decent, that’s the only reason I kept going. It’s a fast food restaurant and obviously there’s going to be lines sometimes, there’s going to be misunderstandings, it’s life. But this made no sense to me. I go to this Wendy’s literally 4 times a week sometimes, it really is my favorite spot to eat for lunch. Today I go through the line and it’s a lot slower than normal, but there’s only 2 cars ahead of me the entire time. I get to the menu and I say “I’ll take a number three, large strawberry lemonade and large fry” I wait to get to the first window and the lady takes my card and has it with her for a unusual amount of time, nearly 2 minutes which is odd because it normally takes them seconds to check out. She then asks me what my order was, and then she reads the order back to me except she’s missing the French fries so I tell her that. I get to the second Window and I get my drink automatically obviously, but then I sit and watch 4 or 5 of the workers all in the drink Area moving about doing particularly nothing. Nearly 4 minutes later and they open the window and give me the wrong order, I opened the bag and said “this isn’t mine” and I take a extra second to look at it because the order looks like mine just with added stuff. The worker who handed me the wrong food got snappy and said “well give it back then”, I never asked you to give me the wrong stuff to begin with. Once I gave it back the other male worker asked me what my order was again, “it should literally just be ten chicken nuggets and a large fry” he replied “oh I didn’t know you wanted a large fry” I responded “well either way everything you’ve given me so far has been wrong.” I prefer not getting upset with fast food workers because I was one in a terrible place so I understand when things get mixed up. But this experience was just too weird for me. Didn’t even fill up the medium fry that I definitely didn’t order or ask for.

First time stopping here on my way home on the other side of the border. I was impressed the food was hot including fresh french fries. I posted on my Facebook page that I was very pleased with this Wendy’s location. On my way to Gurnee I will definitely be stopping here again.

Noticed new staff in this location and honestly wish the old staff was there. Has gone so downhill. The quality of customer service is so disappointing. I ordered 2 salads with extra dressing. And I was charged for it. Then I check my bag and guess what ?! NO dressing, not even one. It should have come with 2 dressing packets, one for each salad, plus 2 more, because that is what I was charged extra for. Then, when I went back around the drive thru to let them know, they acted like they were doing me a favor. I showed them the receipt and everything. There’s seems to be nothing but teens working there now, maybe young adults. Either way, they all need lessons on customer service. How do people still have jobs with this work ethic? It’s a shame because the staff prior to this were always so nice and on top of it.

We won’t be going back again. We had a few rude interactions. We thought maybe they were just having a bad day. We are always polite when ordering. I say please and thank you. I really appreciate the service they are providing. But I really don’t appreciate it when they roll their eye’s at me for asking for the 4 drinks they forgot to hand me. Or when they cut me off mid sentence when they hand me the incorrect food. Accidents happen it’s no big deal but please don’t act like it’s my fault. At one time the staff was friendly not anymore they act like ever customer is a burden.

Ordered through the app. Was missing 2 burgers, 2 fries, the onions on the salad I requested, the pecans for both salads, the crispy fried onions for both salads. Was only given 1 dressing, but ordered 2 salads. The soda was severely watered down and the chili was mostly beans. Requested 2 hot sauce packets for the chili, received none. Seriously, what is going on with this location? Didn’t bother going back, stopped at another restaurant to get burgers and fries for the kids.

Total came to 5.35 gave the guy a 20 and he only gave me 4 and my change back told him I needed 10 more dollars back and he told me no I gave it to you I showed him in my hands the 4 dollars and changed and told him I gave you a 20, and dude had to get a manager to give me my full change back, don’t know if he was keeping the 10 for himself or honestly just can’t add.

I came to this Wendy’s because I was hungry and it’s pretty close to where I live, and I politely asked them before I ordered my food to make the food cook to order, so that it was fresh. The only thing that seemed fresh were the fries. Burger was barely warm, and my family member said her chicken sandwich was not fresh either, and I asked for the spicy version of that sandwich, and it was the plain. Also when I was checking the bag of food, there two flies, one that was in the bag when I was moving the food around, and one that was dead on a ranch container. If you want Wendy’s, just go to the one on Grand.
