I love their $5 and $6 dollar meals. It’s enough for me. I don’t eat out very often, but when I do this meal is my go-to. Note, I really like going to the Wendy’s in Poquoson. They are fast but most of all friendly. I once ordered food there and left my $ at home. They politely gave me the order for free with a smile. I felt so humble by this act of kindness. Now, I try every time I eat out to go to them..

I went through the drive thru for a $5 biggie bag and a frosty. When I placed my order the cashier rushed me to pull to the window even though I wasn’t done ordering. When she put my frosty on the screen she hurriedly told me my total and told me to pull around. I wanted a small frosty so I was going to ask her to correct it at the window. When I did, she had a nasty attitude. Left the window and proceeded to get her coworker (with the septum piercing) to finish the transaction. I never got rude with the initial employee, never had an attitude, and I was met with both from her. Please stop placing employees with bad attitudes as cashiers. They have no place in customer service. I also found hair in my food, but due to the horrible service I wasn’t presented to it wasn’t even worth the energy to turn around.

My family has been visiting this restaurant since the sixties I’m pretty sure. Me myself I’ve been visiting this restaurant since the eighties Never once had a problem with food or servis however Today I made a mobile order And the very young girl at the window with braids was very very rude . after she handed me the food I preceded to check out every bag because it was multiple items in 4 bags .she looked down at Me in a very rude and disrespectful manner as I finished I said thank you and she just stared down with a very dark look on her face and said thanks very sarcastically. As I preceded to leave I realized my nuggets were very old and tasted funny so I looped around and parked in the mobile section. As i got out of my car She went straight to smiling ear to ear and even called her coworker over who came to the window and laughed looking directly at me while running her mouth on the other side of a closed window. I came inside and the manager was very very polite and helpful and got me new nuggets. Still by the drive thru the girl was laughing so hard she nearly fell down. After I got my nuggets the second girl walks up and makes a point to look at me with a very sarcastic smile while she ones up with the other girl. at then I noticed she was wearing a shirt with a blurry rappers face on it nothing to do with wendys i really doubt wendys allows shirts like this. I got my food and left If these children act like this to me then I can’t imagine the dozens of people they have offended. Clearly the first girl did not want to be there from the negative look on her face. There wasn’t anyone behind me in line so it’s not like I was holding her up. People that act like this do not deserve to greet people everyday she had no respect for me or the manager on duty to act like this. In the 35 to 40 years I’ve been coming to this location I have never seen anyone so blatantly disrespectful with no regard to customer service . She does not deserve to work that window and needs to be put somewhere where she has no contact with customers. I actually went here after my high school prom in 2000 along with a group of friends it’s has always been a very welcoming place and me and my family have alot of good mermoires eating with family member that arr no longer with us. The next time I go there If she’s at the window I will ask to be helped by someone else. My daughter who is special needs even recognized how uncomfortable she made us feel. Again the manager was very nice and I’m sure would not condone this type of behavior. This all happened on 5-1-23 at 5:58 pm and the name on my receipt is Becky m.

Eat here at your own risk! The girl at the drive thru window was very unprofessional, rude and mentally unstable. Apparently she made a mistake and tried to hide it by condescending me and yelling “card didnt go through” so when I handed her the receipt she gave me and explained that she didnt need to be rude to me, her MGR saw that she charged me for someone else’s order. My wife was obviously upset from the behavior and lack of apology so when the associate noticed, she opened the window and started verbally assaulting my wife and threatening/taunting her to fight. She literally was sticking her head out of the drive thru! This behavior is unacceptable, especially in front of my children and customers deciding to dine in out of the rain on Sunday for lunch. The MGR had to pull her away and apologized to me while the girl continued to give me the evil eye over her shoulder. Unfortunately, I have to go back to get reimbursed for someone else’s order but I think i might cut my losses on this one just to be safe and hope everything is okay in this poor girls life.
