We had the brisket and the pulled pork sandwiches with the voodoo sauce. A kids serving on the pulled pork was plenty for me. We also tried the corn bread, beans, peach cobbler and hush puppies. Hush puppies were a bit on the dark side but everything was good. I unfortunately did not get to try the peach pulled pork sandwich like I’d been hoping since they were out of a lot of ingredients and sides. But they were able to substitute sides as well.

Super clean restaurant. Very friendly staff! The brisket and the nachos were so delicious! And I even ordered there Piedmont sauce to go because it tastes exactly like the sauce when I lived in North Carolina! Great job on making a spot on NC BBQ sauce it’s almost impossible to find up here

Look…don’t let the outside fool you. In fact we drove by it without realizing it. It’s a very basic place, however, the food is outstanding. The brisket tacos were very good and so are the fries. Service was quick and friendly. Ate outside at the picnic table. Definitely no frills but if you want really good food at a decent price…don’t pass it by.

Brisket wasn’t too dry but wasn’t as tender as I expected. It had good flavor and I really liked the sauce. Cole slaw seemed to be basically shredded cabbage and carrots with very little dressing. Baked beans were very delicious.

First off, the food is consistently scrum diddily umptious. I’ve tried it multiple times and every time it’s delish. This time though was especially cray because I wanted to try some Carolina Reaper wings because I saw it on the menu. I only ended up getting through one wing to try the flavor. Xander (kind staff member) though was intrigued by the wings when I ordered them and he wanted to try 5 of them himself. I of course was surprised because 5 Carolina Reaper wings was quite the feat but I was delighted that I wouldn’t do this alone. When the wings came out I was flabbergasted and had to stop after one wing but he ate all 5 in less than a 2 minutes and maintained eye contact with a singular member of my party the entire time. We were thoroughly impressed and he kept them down for a minute or two before throwing up in the bushes (outside the establishment). However, he tried to wash the wings down with a Mountain Dew and hurled shortly after. Great staff, great service, five stars!!! We will definitely be returning to visit Xander and his endeavors.

We stopped after hiking at kinzu. I had 6 hungry kids with me. Super good food and plenty to even fill up teenage boys! Get the brisket tacos!!!

Delicious meat that falls off the bone. Not dry in my opinion, also not spongy moist. Meat pulls apart from itself like you’d expect if it had been boiled for hours before roasting, giving it the taste of BBQ.
