I’m assuming the man at the store is Wayne. He had a mean look on his face and was rude. They didn’t look happy to see me. It wasn’t good. The food was very salty. I’m so shocked because of all the good reviews. I just tricked off $22 and I still have to eat this. The brisket is tough and dry. Not at all what I had in mind. The sides are very small.

The food was delicious in my opinion! I ordered the Beef Hot Boy Nachos but opted for fries instead of chips, and I must say, it was a great choice! The brisket was tender, and the cheese sauce was really good. I strongly recommend giving it a try as it’s definitely worth every penny.

Simlpy incredibe. This is a locally-owned, friendly place with reasonable prices and mind-blowing barbecue. I got my takeout quickly and was served by a chipper and pleasant woman, however, I failed to catch her name. I had the best Carolina BBQ sandwich this side of Charlotte with dirty rice. Out of this world! I highly recommend and definitely be back!

Hands down the best BBQ I’ve ever had. Chicken was not dry. Ribs fell apart. Brisket was perfection. Baked beans were the best beans I’ve had. The fries still were crunchy and not soggy after being delivered! We were blown away.

I stopped in for lunch, ordering ribs, catfish, cabbage and Cole slaw. The food was outstanding. The ribs were meaty, the cabbage was warm and nicely seasoned, Cole slaw was good, catfish was FANTASTIC. This was the best catfish I ever had. I tried hot and mild bbq sauce for dipping the ribs, both were very tasty. I highly recommend this restaurant. There was even a chocolate chip cookie included for dessert.

Wayne’s new skoo barbecue is an absolute delight! The moment you take a bite of their fall-off-the-bone ribs, you’re transported to flavor paradise. The tenderness and smoky goodness of the meat are simply unmatched. And let’s not forget about their sides – they are the perfect complement to the mouthwatering ribs. From creamy mac and cheese to tangy coleslaw, each side dish is bursting with flavor. Wayne’s skoo barbecue is a must-visit for any food lover looking to savor an unforgettable BBQ experience!

Before I was traveling to Omaha from Phoenix, I was looking up best barbecue places in Omaha and I found this awesome place which was a perfect find. The staff were very welcoming, appreciative and friendly. The food was tasty and the prices are beyond reasonable. It is an honor to give Wayne’s New Skoo BBQ five stars!

The BEST BBQ I’ve had in years. Total hole in the wall, didn’t even know what the place was called. Got my Carolina pulled pork sandwich and it was so juicy, flavorful and had an incredible smoked taste! I got the hot sauce which was the bomb., not runny at all like most other places. Going back again soon to try their brisket.

I’ve been here a few times and I have to say, it hasn’t missed once. Their Carolina Pulled Pork sandwich and their ribs are my favorite. The fries are delicious without any sauces, but even better when mixed with the bbq sauce and the baked beans. Definitely my go-to spot for bbq in Omaha.
